Liz’Art Ink tattoo — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

::WARNING:: DO NOT GO HERE!!! This was the single worst tattoo experience of all time!! SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS DOING! SHE TAGGED MY HAND WITH A STRAY LINE WHILE MOVING ME, TATTOO BLOWOUT, HORRIBLE QUALITY, SLOW and takes long 20-40 minute breaks. Bad communication. FAKE PAID REVIEWS FROM Indonesia!!

We thought we did our due diligence with this artist. It was a referral from somebody who just started being associated with them. We set up an appointment for my girlfriend and myself. My girlfriend went to the first appointment we found out she charges for day session A flat rate. She told us the session would be between eight and thirteen hours of work. My girlfriend had the first appointment started at 2 o’clock that she asked to be move 230pm. Liza proceeded To sit on the computer until after 6 o’clock planning a handful of designs. She picked off of Google. Started placing 4 stencils at 7 o’clock ans stated the stencils need to dry ( which for the record takes 15 minutes max) only Started tattooing at 8:03 stopped just after 9 o’clock for a break and start it again at 10. Went to 11 (another break) when my girlfriend asked how much longer they were going that night because she had work in the morning. Artist seem confused that she had work in the morning.(on a weekday) they went until 12:15.

ultimately The flat rate was 700$ for roughly 3 hour In that time very little was accomplished one small to medium tattoo was mostly finished and two other stencils were barely scratched the outline. (those two were rushed done in the last 20 minutes.) the fourth stencil that was added, had to be wiped off. (She also didn’t clean off and excess ink from her arm)

All of that was bad, but could have been explained away if the quality was good! The one tattoo she almost finished was just a black lined orca. One fill area that she did on the fin was all done with a fine line needle instead of a shading/coloring needle and proceeded to blow out completely the next day! She also left the tattoo gun on and close While moving my gf to another position and drop the gun RUNNING on her hand. She has an unwanted tattooed dotted line down the back of her hand now!! She barely acknowledged that it happened. Was not apologetic or concerned.

At this point, you may be asking why did we even stay or pay? and that’s a reasonable question. We had a large deposit given that we knew we weren’t gonna get back and figured it wouldn’t be that bad. We’d get whatever we could out of it. It’s also a private studio away from a shop that she was locked in alone and she wasn’t allowed anyone else to visit. She felt uncomfortable having a confrontation! After all this happened, we did more due diligence and realized there is at least one more bad review for her that was buried by paid reviews from Indonesia. Do yourself a favor and look DEEP at the reviews yourself.! Additionally the only real reviews that she has from customers are from over two years ago. I don’t know the story, but it’s very very shady.

MY GIRLFRIEND HAS BEEN DEVASTATED FOR THE LAST FOUR DAYS . I wrote her to confront her on all of this, and that we absolutely would not be doing more work and she’s lucky we’re not bringing her up on assault and fraud charges! Her only response was it’s normal to prep a design for three hours…. (It was 5 hours). Apparently she didn’t think any of the rest of the complaints were worth even acknowledging…

When I came to Liza with my need for a coverup, she worked with me for weeks going back and forth designing the perfect tattoo. I thought it would be impossible to cover a solid black bar (a coverup I did myself) with color. I could not believe how good this tattoo came out. It doesn’t even look like a real tattoo, like it was photoshopped onto my chest! I now consider her a friend and wouldn’t go to anyone else at this point for any future work. For the amount of time she spent working with me, designing, editing, then the hours put into the actual tattoo…I expected it to be a lot more than she charged me. Liza is by far hands down the most talented tattoo artist in all of Long Island, I would even say one of the best in the whole state. Her prices are wonderful for the amount of time she puts into perfecting every tattoo, I’ve gotten 3 full tattoos all from Liza including my first ever sleeve & I can’t imagine going to anyone else besides liza. Her work is truly one of one & speaks for itself. One of the most talented artists by far from fine lining, to shading, to even color & of course you cannot forget her incredible realism & portraits. 10/10 recommend liza to anyone looking for a cover up, new tattoo, sleeve, she’s...
