Nothing like wasting everyone’s time. I placed an order for an easy item it was a salad and a pickle and I went to pick it up in their drive through window that was wide open. I sat there for 10 minutes. That’s a long time. They kept making eye contact and then ignoring me. They answer the phone and can’t even say be right with you. There is nothing on the window that’s wide open but has another pane that doesn’t say not serving at drive through please come in. Nothing. No instead they just ignore you. So no thank you. I won’t be going back. I would rather drive to the 24-hour bagel place in smithtown to get service than go a block over from wheee I live and be actively ignored. They are always hiring for experienced help and yet it seems none of them are experienced in customer service. I am good on ever giving them my money again.
Update:// they did call to apologize which is nice but the people behind the counter weren’t children. It wasn’t their first job and still learning how to provide customer service. They were adults one was mid to late twenties at least and the other one was well into her 50s or so. So I appreciate them explaining it’s busy and they have new people. But anyone at that age has no excuse on not going hmm what should I do in this situation that I would want done if I were in their shoes. I was a training manager for years. So I expect mediocre skill set from kids first learning but they had two grown adults behind the counter that can answer the phone and be polite and come super close to the window to get ice for the cups for customers in front of them. She could have said hey we’re crazy busy it’s best if you park and come in. She didn’t. She is old enough to...
Read moreTerrible. I had poor experiences in the past with subpar quality from this deli but I figured I'd give them yet another chance. If they only had 3 strikes they would have already been out. Strike 4 or 5 was my most recent order of their "Fenway Park" hero, which is billed as a toasted hero with batter dipped flounder, melted American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and tarter sauce. Sounds yummy. Unfortunately, there was no flounder on it. Instead, they threw a few fish sticks on a hero and called it a day. I should add that the fish sticks themselves weren't even good. They contained cheap quality minced fish in a very heavy coating of breading. The frozen ones in the supermarket are better, although these were probably also frozen, mass produced fish sticks. So basically, I got a hero with a whole lot of breading, a few tomato slices, a bunch of lettuce, and a hint of some kind of minced mystery fish mixed in there. For $10, I should have received a nice breaded flounder filet like you would get at any normal deli. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will not be back. They've already gotten more chances than...
Read moreWorst deli I’ve ever been to in my life. Time after time the workers there are rude and nasty. Today I go to the drive through and after 20 minutes waiting outside so I called to let them know I was there, which they’ve told me to do in the past incase I’m outside a while. A nice girl picks up and says “no problem we’re making the food” I say “okay thanks” and hang up. Next thing you know I have this big dude coming outside freaking out how rude I am, everyone’s busy, and that I hung up. First, no idea where that could’ve come from but after all of that he slams the window on me and screaming at me like a child. I’ve never delt with a situation like this in my life and knowing he’s making the food worries me even more because he’s obviously a hot head and mad at the world so who knows what he’s doing to the food. STAY...
