La Famosa — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I am sad to leave this review but after calling several times and trying to speak with an actual adult regarding my experience last week and having no luck here it goes. I placed an order for delivery last Thursday at 5pm…at 6pm I called and was told it would be here any minute, at 6:30 when it still hadn’t arrived I called again and the “kid” who answered the phone was rude and told me “I don’t know what to tell you, the guy left with a lot of orders” I asked to speak to the owner and another “kid” got on the phone. I said “your the owner? Because you sound like my sons age” to which he responded “I’m his son” at 7pm my freezing cold pizza pie and 12 garlic knots that i ordered 2 hours prior were left ON THE GROUND at my front door while the delivery guy tried running to his car without having to see anyone. The only reason I even knew it was there was because there were 6 starving kids looking out the window waiting for it to arrive. We have ordered from this pizza place religiously sometimes multiple times a week and now they have lost my business and I’ve told all my friends. Let me start by saying I was charged $11.75 for 2 slices and a soda 😳 my husband left a review but need to explain it in a better detail so coming in we seen a young man blowing his nose over the pizza area and was using the thin napkin while my husband and I and our son approach the Pizza we paused for a minute, given him the chance to wash his hands we were just staring at each other while he was thinking and blinking and I’m hoping he was gonna say give me one minute I’ll be right back but he didn’t and then he asked us how can I help you, and My Son yelled out two slices, please as a mom, I said to My Son well let it see what’s here, so if we could avoid him from eating his booger juice, pizza and the gentleman proceeded, and ripped apart the pizza slices with his bare hands without washing his hands so my husband already walked out

please just take a couple of minutes out of your time and wash your hands 🙌 🫧🧴

Horrible place!!! I tried to call and place an order and they pick and choose what you can have. I wanted to order pasta and rice balls at 7:45pm they said sorry that’s unavailable the kitchen is closed. I decided I would call back another night I call tonight 7:30 pm an hour before they close and they let me order pasta and a pie but say there’s no rice balls available today. I chose to cancel my order because this is the 2nd time I’ve tried to order and they CALLED ME BACK after I cancelled the order and all of a sudden they had rice balls available.
