Ming's House Chinese Food — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I just called the restaurant with my complaints because we have ordered here for years, and always loved the food. However, I placed an order that was over $70 dollars last night and there were several problems. I ordered 2 egg rolls, egg foo young, fried chicken wings, vegetable steamed dumplings, a quart of plain fried rice, beef and broccoli, 1 lg vegetable soup and 1 lg wonton soup. The egg foo young turned my stomach when I saw that the patties were FLOATING in oil (a quarter of an inch or more oil), so I couldn’t eat it! The soups were fine, but I tasted soap in the egg roll (so the other one went in the garbage)! While we did get the steamed vegetable dumplings, we also got an order of fried dumplings that wasn’t ordered and in the garbage they went!! I called the restaurant and told who I think is an owner about the order and her response was “oh, ok.” Not even an apology for the screw ups or an offer to refund what we couldn’t eat! Soooo after literally 17 years ordering from them, I am totally done. Never again will I order from...

bought a rib dinner cost 13.00 — pork fried rice has onion and no 6 small pieces of pork to make you think it was fried rice - the ribs were hard and they gave me and end piece i should have shown the photo but i pitched it in the garbage - it was so burnt and over cooked it was like wood - only one rib was eating edible - i have never reviewed a restaurant before but this was so bad i just had to say something — they charge 5percent more since “prices r so bad “ but i’d rather buy ribs premade from the supermarket- save your money even the egg roll was skinny and burnt - it was 5:30- 6 primetime and the place was empty - and if ur blaming covid and your charging me more at least give me something that is edible ... i won’t ever...

I've searched everywhere for good pork fried rice & l've been let down every time. This place makes the best pork fried rice I've had in years. Their rice is not filled with peas or any other filler that most Chinese places put into their rice in place of pork. They actually put PORK & lots of it in their rice which adds flavor to every bite. In case you are wondering, I like pork fried rice. UPDATE 7-29-18 I dropped my rating from 5 stars to 3 because unfortunately like so many other Chinese food places they are inconsistent. They have either changed their cook or changed their recipe for pork fried rice. Now their rice is like every other place out there, mediocre...
