Rocco's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Food is decent, just moved in the area.. super close by so we’ve ordered a few times. Every time the order has been messed up a little bit in some way, but whatever. Last week I placed an order for pick up, I went to pick up, my total came to $80 even. I paid with my debit card, they asked me to sign the receipt. I put $0 in the tip and wrote the total as the original $80, and when handing back the receipt I told the cashier no tip on the card, as I was putting cash in the tip jar. He said okay thanks! The next day I happened to look at my bank account.. two charges. one for the $80 and a second charge for $20. I called about it, was told the manager wasn’t in and that they would have the manager call me.. 4 days later I never heard anything so I called again and asked for a manager.. they gave the phone to the same person who told me the manager wasn’t in.. he said “the guy” still wasn’t in and he couldn’t get in contact with him.. he asked me if I wanted to come in for food for credit or if I still wanted a call, I said I disputed the charge with my bank but I wanted a call from the manager still. He said he would give him my info again.. it’s been about a week.. haven’t heard anything from the “manager”. idk if this was an accident, or if someone there is trying to scam people.. but if I ever go back.. Giving my experience here a 1 is 1 too many. I've lived in Patchogue for 4 years and have been a regular, always bringing family and friends. Food is good, I'll give them that. Tonight I went with 3 other people after my boyfriends mom specifically asked to go there (she lives in east Islip) and we placed our order. We originally asked for 3 slices but immediately changed our minds and wanted a pie instead. He told us we still had to pay for the 3 slices even if we got the pie bc the slices had already entered the oven.

It would be a complete waste of money to buy a pie and individual slices. He said "the slices would dry up if he took them out." Not only was this embarrassing to be treated this way by a place we regularly eat at, it was also shocking to see their complete disregard for making money. Instead of us paying for a whole pie we only paid for 3 slices and they were completely ok with that. Very dissatisfied that they don't care enough about the customers to make us happy and needless to say after 4 years that was my last...

Roccos pizza is the best Italian food in town. I recently had Rocco cater my sons graduation party and the food was incredible. He delivered the hot trays as well as the heros himself to the party and everything tasted great and so was his service.My family and I also eat regularly at Roccos every week and whether you are eating the pizza (Chipotle chicken slice is my favorite) or getting a meatball parm hero (his meatballs are the BEST) you can't go wrong with whatever you decide to eat!
