This place is so great. I can sit in one place while my kids play games. Each family gets stamped with a unique code that is invisible unless under black light. No one leaves with a kid unless their codes match. It is small enough that I can see pretty much the whole place from one position unlike other play places. There are booths everywhere to sit at regardless of whether you order food. The staff is so nice and constantly working to clean, refresh the salad bar, make sure everyone is having a good time, etc. And they are so helpful and nice and attentive unlike the place we go to in Port Jeff. We came on Saturday at 11am and we were practically the only people there. The place was very clean. There's fun KidzBop music playing and it's brightly lit. The Chuck E character in costume was so nice and came around to say hi to all the kids and did a dance with them. The food was great. We got a pizza with cheese in the crust and the app sampler. I also got the unlimited salad bar which was delicious, lots of fresh toppings. The game cards can be purchased for an amount of time or a number of swipes. We chose the 60 minute game play for $30 but it was 10% off because we ordered a food combo deal. You can pause your game play one time, like when your food comes. Just go to the machine and pause it. Then the next time you swipe at a game it is automatically unpaused. I highly recommend the game cards with the wrist strap so your kids don't lose the card. There's a little kids area with small rides for them. I got the Chuck E Cheese app on my phone which gives you 500 free prize tickets. At the prize counter you have the option of purchasing the prizes or purchasing some prize tickets in case you didn't have quite enough for the prize you wanted which alleviates a lot of issues that we always seen to have at other places. All in all I like that you don't pay to get in and you pay just for what you use. It can get expensive with game cards and food but no more expensive than other play places and you're guaranteed a good time without the headache I always get everywhere else. Very nice for birthday parties or just a small birthday trip...
Read moreTook the kids here on a hot summer day , they were so excited and really wanted to see Chuck E. Cheese. Haven’t been here in a while but the air conditioning still does not work on half of this building which is the larger section of games. Smelled absolutely disgusting kids were so sweaty it was unbearable. Even staff admitted the AC was not working. Purchased 60 mins of game time and Chuck E. Cheese is supposed to make his appearance every hour. He did not come out, we asked the staff twice. The second time I got an eye roll and a huff and a puff and she walked over to the manager. Also another terrible thing about this location is the water in the women’s bathroom comes out scolding hot!!! So there is no cold water and my child seriously could’ve gotten burned. This also has been like this for a few YEARS now. I don’t know how this could still even be possible parents bring there babies and small kids to wash off there hands and the water is scolding hot!! They were definitely understaffed all over the place and when we went to walk out and got to the doors the manager then ran over and asked to check our stamps. So there was no employees by the walk in and exit. I understand being short staffed but at a place like this in the summer there really should be no excuse. Half the games don’t work it’s disappointing to the kids and a big waste of money. We will NOT be coming back To this location ever again....
Read moreChuck E. Cheese has been a family favorite of mine while my children were growing up. We recently celebrated my grandson's 4th birthday there and my how things have changed. Not for the good. For the price you pay, I feel they should include balloons as part of the decorations for each child. If we had been told balloons were not included, I would have brought my own. The pizza was not good and the dipping dots icy they gave were horrible. None of the kids liked it. They would have preferred ice cream. The only nice thing about the night was the guy who was in charge of my grandson's party he was great and made sure my grandson had a great time. Other than that this place needs to be redone and give more for parties. When my kids were growing up it was so much better. Sad because Chuck E Cheese used to be so much fun not just for the kids but the adults too. Also, when we left it was pitch black outside not one single light was on. We had to use our phones to see where we were going. Like seriously, so dangerous for everyone leaving with children. Especially if you're carrying bags of gifts and children. This was not okay. I will have to call corporate. Chuck E Cheese needs to do better. Especially the Patchogue location. My family and I were...
