I think anyone who works on a computer whether it be numbers, text, or art can imagine what it would feel like to not have backed up in awhile and have your hard drive take a huge dump. It's an unbelievable sinking feeling to think you have to redo everything you've done in the last 3 month, 6 months, or in my case, 380 days. Thank God for Rich and everyone at Tech Boys Patchogue. Not just for their quality of work, ability to help me understand what happened, why it happened, and how to prevent it, but for the price. I talked to 4 other long island recovery/tech specialists and Tech Boys price blew them away and I didn't even have to tell him I found a certain price for him to beat it. Simply, he just isn't trying to kill anyone on money. They really know their stuff over there, super nice guys, and super affordable. So, before you freak out, before you go to best buy and spend thousands on a new computer, talk to Rich over at Tech Boys. He'll save you money, he'll save your data, and when you get your machine back (mine was a complete rebuild and data recovery of 500GB and i got it back the NEXT DAY) it will be running like a beast! My battery even lasts twice as long! I'll never go anywhere but Tech Boys for any of my machines. my laptop he rebuilt is a 2012 and I'm about to have him bring my 2006 Mac Pro back to life. They're way too expensive. I went there last year to find out if there was a way to transfer my info from one phone to another. My old phone couldn't charge because the phone USB pin was broken. When I went in they were rude & didn't really want to help me. I got very angry & told them if they didn't want to help me to "just tell me, don't walk away & ignore me". The attitude changed & one of them came back to the desk & asked the other 2 guys if they had any ideas. They figured out how I could charge the battery, put it back in the phone, & transfer my stuff from one phone to the other. They sold me this battery charger, for $25+. Afterwards I found out I could've gotten it for less then $10 on Amazon. The place is dreary, messy, & the first time I went there, their prices were so outrageous I just said thanks & left. I really needed to get the info from my phone this last time, & I can tell you it was absolutely the last time I'll go there. They're rude, I wouldn't want to leave my phone with them, not helpful,...

Came in to Tech Boys in Patchogue, looking for a pretty complicated RGB build. I spoke to Rich on the phone and we set up a game plan.. of which I completely deviated from and went overboard. Regardless, once I brought in all of the parts, they went right to work. You absolutely get what you pay for. I went to them because building with RGB is way over my head and they absolutely exceeded my expectations.

Jessie was who I spent a lot of time talking to and going over stuff with during the building process. This guy is the absolute best. Awesome person and the work he did was incredible. He listened to and accommodated all of my ideas and everything. These guys are great and will really take care of you.
