***update. As on 12/21/21 I have yet to hear anything from the business or owner to try to rectify this situation whatsoever*** I am beyond frustrated with my meal. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and peppers, an order of fries and garlic parmesan wings with extra sauce. Once I arrive home I realize the pizza only has pepperoni on it so I call the store and am told they gave me the wrong pizza and to bring the pizza I currently have, back. Pretty sure that’s a major health code violation. I drive back to the store and the guy inspects the pizza and is ready to give it to the lady sitting behind me whose pizza it actually belongs to. The girl at the counter intervenes and tells me to take both pizzas home… so I did. Upon arriving home and inspecting the rest of my order I see that the wings are extremely dry and have no additional sauce. They are so dried out that when I tried to use a fork to cut one in half, it flew off of my plate and onto the floor. I have lived in Canandaigua for 6 years and often tell my daughter, who is a big Mark’s/Pontillo’s fan, that Perri’s is better… I guess I have to now let her win this round of battle of the pizzas. Absolutely disgusting. I did not feel too well and my daughter just had a tooth extracted… we truly were looking for a good cheat meal and a quiet/relaxing night in. This ruined it and we wound up without dinner. Oh and they apparently do not know how to properly cut a pizza!

UPDATED 9/15/18 Huge thank you for the high quality customer service reply and the opportunity to use the coupon. We came back in for attempt #2 and LOVED it! I've attached two pics of a very happy 5 year old with his own GIANT piece of pizza, orange pop, and cookie from my combo. Adjusted rating to 4 stars and look forward to making this a "guy's tradition." ---------------------------------------------------- Original Post from August 2018 BAIT & SWITCH COUPONS: I was excited to try this out with my son after receiving a "free slice" green coupon in the mail. I ordered a combo for myself and then tried to use the free slice for my 5 year old. I was told you can't use the coupon with a combo even though no where on the coupon does it state this. I asked to speak with the manager because this is not stated anywhere on the coupon. The manager said the computer can't ring it in the coupon with a combo, and it's a chain restaurant, so there's nothing they can do. I'm not sure why they couldn't just make it right by taking the coupon this one time, and not ringing the free piece of pizza in the computer but just giving it to me. Pretty poor service, felt like a bait and switch! I put the soda and cookie back, left with a disappointed 5 year old, and went to Mark's down the road near Walmart.

We got a coupon for Perri’s in the mail, so we decided to give it a try when my parents came over. We got the sheet pizza and 24 wings. The pizza was pretty good. If you’ve had Mark’s pizzeria, it’s very similar. The crust is very thick and fluffy, sauce is not too sweet, overall it’s a good pizza. We received 12 garlic parm wings, which were pretty good. Very crispy, very buttery. Now, we ordered 12 BBQ wings, but we received Country Sweet. We were a little disappointed, but we did enjoy the Country Sweet sauce. There was a bit of a wait too. We were told it would be about 30 minutes and it ended up being around 40 I think. If you order ahead like we did and you take your time getting there, it’s not a big deal. They were pretty busy when we got there. The total before our coupon was around $70 I think. But with the coupon we had it was ~$60. Not the cheapest pizza in the area, but I think it’s worth the price.

Every time I roll the dice and order from here, I am reminded of why I stay away. After waiting the requested 30 minutes, I went to grab order. I even forgot my wallet, and had to come back. After paying, I stood there waiting while not a single person working behind the counter was showing any urgency to complete orders. The gentleman making the pizzas was engaged in casual conversation, the young man making pizzas appeared overwhelmed but no one was helping. When the oven opened, and I saw both of what turned out to be my pizzas were barely cooked. After about 12 minutes, a young man realized I'd been there for a while and followed up. He worked diligently to put my order together, and I left.Tonight, however, the issue wasn't the food- it was what I saw in 15 minutes I waited for my order.

I saw MULTIPLE staff members either wearing masks improperly or as chin straps while standing over active fryers and other people's food, and these weren't momentary or brief instances of staff lowering the mask to catch a breather. I've worked in fast food, and can appreciate how hot it gets on days like today- I can't even begin to imagine how much more difficult is to work over a fryer with one of those masks on. If that were the case, I wouldn't complain- but it was the entire time I was in the restaurant. The only 3 staff who were wearing masks properly were the young woman at the register, the young man working the pizza oven, and the young man who gave me my order. When Staff did adjust their masks (still worn incorrectly), they did so while touching their faces with gloves on. Not a single one changed their gloves after doing so- they simply went back to work. That's unacceptable even when there isn't a global health crisis, and a health code violation. In the current climate, I found it extremely unsettling. If there was a manager in the building, he/she was doing absolutely nothing to uphold/enforce any sort of safety standards, and was completely content to allow the restaurant to run at half pace. I can handle uncooked pizza, cold food, or long waits for delivery. What I can't accept is the complete lack of concern or awareness for the health and safety of not only other staff members, but your customers. I will not be patronizing this business moving forward.

And no, despite paying over $50 for my order, we...

Well I tried to order $70 worth of food and after being told I could not leave the tip for the driver with my credit card, that I just gave to the young man who took my order. Mind you I asked him initially before I placed order and he said I could, and then after I already gave him my card info he then said he couldn't add the tip. I told him I have no cash for a tip so I then asked to pick up the order instead. The guy did not know how to change it from deliver to pick up and said he would get manager. The manager then did not even let me explain what happened and got very snippy telling me to hold on so he could get the details, which I was politely trying to tell him. He then said he doesn't want to play around with the money and will just give me a free 2 liter instead of refunding the delivery charge. I said I did not want a 2 liter I just want to cancel the delivery and switch to pick up, had he let me explain why he would have understood I had no cash for the tip! So then I said I just want to cancel the order at this point. The manager then asked me why 3 times and then hung up on me without even confirming he refunded my money. My husband then called back to tell him he wants his money back and confirmation or he is calling the police. The manager then hung up on my husband. We did speak to Jasmine and the store owner about this Harry and they were both very apologetic and offered us free food, which I politely refused bc at this point I wouldn't trust the food. It's just a Shame as I did enjoy their food but I will never go here again after...

Just moved to canandaigua a few months ago. It's 6pm on a Friday night. I want a couple fish fry's and some appetizers. Call and place my order. For one, I wanted bacon cheddar fries. They apparently no longer offer them but on the website it clearly shows they do. So I settle for mozz sticks and fried pickles. They tell me the total and I proceed to pay with a card over the phone. After that, they finally tell me it'll be an hour to an hour and ten minute wait for delivery. What in the actual f*. I should have cancelled my order right then and there. But I want a fish fry. And I also support the business and do a profession in which I'm at the Brighton location. Read many reviews stating delivery times were unreal. If it's a known problem, not sure why you wouldn't put on more staff for high demand times. (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays). It needs to be fixed. And if my food is cold when I get it, I'll write another review. Could have ordered from any other joint in this town and gotten my food in half the time. I've done it before. Have never had an hour+ wait time. It's ridiculous even for a Friday night. Hire more freaking staff. Not pleased. Just hoping the food is good and not cold. Not high hopes at this point.

Edit. Even with an hour plus wait, the food was still warm. Still tipped the driver 30 percent. Not his fault on the wait. But still highly recommend upping staff for Friday through Sunday. Shouldn't have to wait over an hour...
