This has been a long time coming. Since I met my husband and moved in w him and transfer from the middle of nowhere over an hour and half away to Windham about 6yrs ago, our first date all I asked for was Taco Bell and a movie. Sadly we weren't able to get Taco Bell and I've stated multiple times that they have everything else just about in Catskill but no Taco Bell which was crazy to me as even from a tiny town in the sticks we still had a Taco Bell. So, when we seen the soon to come signs he was so happy to point it out to me. Been waiting patiently impatient for it to open. Now that it finally open, we totally understand the whole reasoning for the lack of indoor service and employment services are a little slow. Everything is BRAND NEW! So, to read how people are complaining about the services, drive through, etc have little to no compassion for the fact that it's job opportunities for people in school trying to still learn as there was a deadline. If you're heartless and have negative things to say about these people trying to just work, I hope someone goes to your work and complains about how much of a Karen you are! It's sad how these days there's no compassion, patience, or understanding for others. This world is beginning to become sickening and disappointing. It hurts my heart that everyone is so disrespectful yet demand respect in return. What you give is what you get. People just learning will make mistakes. No need to tear a kid a new a-hole for your arrogance. What if that was your kid trying to work for college money or pay bills and someone like a Karen comes around and says the wrong thing when this poor person is so overwhelmed to the point they actually quit? This is just sad. But props to finally getting a TB in Catskill! Yes the line is long but due to probably the fact that the indoors is not yet complete it's understandable. The service was very polite and yes they asked if we'd like sauce as well. Everything was pretty well flowed considering the lunch rush AND the fact that there's a sign that they opened early through the construction and have been trying to train people but wanted to open for everyone for the holidays. They also do have delivery options as well. They're opened earlier than the date they're supposed to be so there's Besides the jerks that had been rude due to the way the parking lots are, this jerk said some colorful things as he had seen us trying to turn in and said some nasty things to us...

Let’s call this visit: “A Case Study in Fast Food Irony.”
Pressed for time and thinking I’d grab a quick bite, I decided Taco Bell’s drive-thru in Catskill was my solution. A lone car in the line — mine. Perfect, right? What could possibly go wrong?
I placed my order with ease and proceeded to the pickup window, where I was greeted by an employee who looked like she either just woke up or lost a fight with her alarm clock. Hair askew, a vibe somewhere between “I just can’t today” and “I’m here so I don’t get fired.” While I’m all for casual work attire, this was next-level disheveled.
Payment went smoothly enough. Then came the wait… and wait… and wait. Over 15 minutes of solo car contemplation. Not sure if they were harvesting the corn for the tortillas or hand-raising the chicken in the back, but it was unusually long — especially since I was the only customer.
Finally, my culinary adventure arrived. Let’s break it down: Nachos: Presentation was... avant-garde. Looked like someone tossed chips into the box from across the room and called it a day. Very minimalist. A true "interpretation" of nachos. Chicken Soft Taco: A glimmer of hope. The taco was actually decent — warm, filled appropriately, and held together like a taco should. Compared to the nachos, this was a 3 star gourmet dish Coke Zero: Completely flat. Not a bubble in sight. Basically, brown water with a hint of regret.
If you’re looking for a quick stop with prompt service, enthusiastic staff, and fresh bubbly beverages… you may want to keep driving. If you enjoy long meditative waits, minimalistic nachos, and sleepwalking service, this might just be your spot.
Will I return? Let’s just say Taco Bell Catskill won’t be seeing me in the drive-thru lineup again anytime soon.
In the end, what was supposed to be a fast, simple stop turned into a drive-thru episode of “Survivor.” Between the sleepwalking service, the Olympic shot-put nachos, and the lifeless soda, I can confidently say I’ll be bypassing this Taco Bell location in the future.

Read moreVisited Taco Bell on January 8th 2024. I know this location in Catskill new. We were so excited as we have been wanting a Taco Bell or KFC for years.
Besides VOMITING, DIARRHEA, STOMACH ACHES & PAIN.
Soft toco’s wet and soggy Stuck to the paper Worse of all the soft chicken taco folded up 1/2 the size after I added sour cream and guacamole. Only one piece of chicken wide. Maybe 3 tiny end pieces. We didn’t have a fountain drink so it’s not from bad fountain even though these should be new machines.
( google what’s found in fountain drinks one day, I’ll never use one again)
Drive through only but no warning signs. Ok Go to use app. It has this location good. Employee guy asked us what we were doing because 2 cars and parked by door to get in. I say using app to order he said ok good. 20 plus minutes later fighting app woman employee comes out says oh the app don’t work. That’s great because I have all night to sit in the cold. 😤 Go through drive-through pay lots more then the APP’s online special price. They should at least honor the apps price or something given the first guy never said anything.
Needs more training on how to greet and send off customers.
I would like to say if I try it again I will have a positive review. However if I ever go back it...
