Excellent Marina! Tucked away nicely on Catskills creek this is a great Marina for dropping your mast if you plan to so the Canals.
More than anything the vibe of Catskills and this Marina is just awesome, relaxed, and fun. We did drop the mast on a windy day and there were moments of excitement but it all came together.
This Marina does lack laundry machines, suprised they don't get a couple coin machines to fill the void but in the area there are other options for laundry. Including a sign for full service laundry accross the street.
The restaurant will be getting it's own review, everything we had there was fresh and tasty. Seems like a popular place with the locals, and there are drink and seafood specials regularly.
Bathrooms we're private and decent.
Floating docks have some rough spots, as does every building in this town. It's not a pretenscious place, but more down to earth.
I certainly was worried about dropping the mast but they made easy work of it and would have don't it a day earlier if I hadn't been drinking at the pirate bar accross the street after arrival and was all hung over day one.
I really liked the Marina but must continue on as Dragon's Lair has many more miles to get to get...
Read moreThis is a hidden gem in the Village of Catskill on the Catskill Creek. There is a full service Marina ( boat repairs, boat storage, transient and seasonal docking, pool, restaurant, and restrooms). The marina can accommodate small and larger vessels including sailboats. There is mast removal/storage available. There are currently no gas or diesel pumps. The staff is helpful and will take the extra steps to assist in whatever way they can. Shore power and water is available at each slip, and the docks are well maintained. The Creekside restaurant has great food, and there is a bar area for relaxing. There are comfortable inside and outside dining areas with pleasant views of the Catskill Creek waterfront. Over the past several years many improvements have been made at...
Read moreThis was our second stay and it was even better this year. We were greeted at the slip when we made our way into the creek and our spot was perfect. The other members of the marina were so welcoming to us and to our dog. The showers/bathrooms are kept clean and the restaurant on site is perfect for lunch or dinner. The downtown area is only a 15 minute walk from the marina and there are so many good restaurant choices...everything from coffee shops, breakfast/lunch spots to delicious dinners (high end or just casual). There are 2 fantastic ice cream stops too. There is a brand new Stewart’s just down the road if you need last minute, convenient groceries or drinks. The whole long weekend was so relaxing and we enjoyed every minute of it. We will...
