The wife and I made a weekend trip to Buffalo from Toronto. We were originally hoping to get a quick bite at Duff's on Saturday night, but they were super busy, and we were pressed for time, so we looked up alternatives nearby online and found this GEM of a restaurant.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations. We ended up getting the double order if chicken fingers and the portions were MASSIVE, we were able to make two meals out of it. The tenders were the best we ever had. The chicken was juicy and the sauces were mouth watering. We also had the privilege of trying their popular BBQ chicken, had a really nice smoky flavorf and it was perfectly paired with their garlic butter. In addition, the service was exceptional and you can tell they care about cleanliness because the eating area and kitchen were spotless.
We were so happy we stumbled upon this place, Duff's quickly became long forgotten. To anyone visiting the Buffalo, NY area, you NEED to eat here. This will be our go-to spot whenever we cross the border - there are so many more items we want to try...
Read moreNormally ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE!!! I'd never get the Buffalo chicken salad again. It literally was all iceberg lettuce, tomato, and way too much onion. Only supposedly "2 small chicken fingers. " It didn't seem like there was even 1 chicken finger on it. Won't be ever ordering that again and due to nothing offered to me to replace it, he just rushed me off the phone. Also the iceberg lettuce had an odor to it. The young male who made it, was not very accommodating at all. He then said well on the menu it said lettuce tomato and onion( way too much onion BTW ) Very DISAPPOINTING. I apparently was a bother. I overheard him say why? Meaning why am I calling back. Hopefully he was NOT AN OWNER. Perhaps ask the customer if she would like to return it, throw in garbage , then offer something else. I sure won't be ordering from here too soon after this experience. It was not cheap either. Iceberg lettuce is maybe a...
Read moreThis is a cool little BBQ place located in the Cheektowaga/Depew area.
The food was very good. I went there for lunch and had the pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. The pork was seasoned well and their BBQ sauce was excellent. My sides were Cajun corn and baked beans. Both of them were tasty.
The woman running the counter was friendly and gave good service. Their menu has a lot of other options but it wasn't too big which can cause confusion or indecisiveness.
I would definitely go back to try other items like the chicken, ribs, Nashville chicken sandwich, freshly made fries and chips.
They do have a small dining room if you want to eat your meal there. The place is nicely designed.
They also have catering available!
I'd give this place a solid 4...
