So normally I just would let it be. But since when did ranch become a huge deal? Honestly food was good, but I am a bit blown away on how much sonics management has such an issue on giving the customers ranch. I placed an order through the app. It's 12:29, on 4/13/23 just incase you were curious who the manager was. Anyways, I placed an order on the app. My son and I got two jumbo bbq chicken popcorns , with 6 sides of ranch.. which were on the recipt. They gave us zero. I pressed the button said my ranch was forgotten, she asked how many, I said 6. A nice young lady brings out two, and says if you want more my manager says we have to charge you because it wasn't on the order. .25cents each. I showed her my recipt, where it says 6 ranch for zero cents. She took it to her manager who once again said the app is wrong, you still would have to pay 25 cents per ranch..... I decided that the manager really cherishes her ranch and not the customer who placed the order and had 6 of them on there. So I did not get the ranch .. I find this oddly funny cause if I were her, I would of just given the customer the ranch, but now the customer is writing a long review about how much the Manger on upper front street at sonic loves her ranch. Let's do better sonic. If I spending 24 bucks on an order , is 6 ranch such an issue? Because she cleaned up the coffee making thing before we placed the order, she was frustrated and shook her head when we ordered coffee. She said "it might take at least 10-15 minutes to brew coffee again because I cleaned it up" and as we had to drive for 5 more hours, we said we can wait. She was so angry that she gave us the coffee without sugar in it, even after specifically ordering two coffee both with sugar in it. When we asked for sugar she argued that she added sugar in it but clearly there was no sugar in it. I said I tasted the coffee and there's no sugar in it, she kept arguing that she did add sugar. I asked if she'd like to taste it if she doesn't believe me she Said she didn't want to. Then she asked if I wanted extra sugar and when I said yes she gave 2 packets of sugar for 2 cups of coffee which didn't have a bit of sugar in it. This is my first and last time visiting this chain. Unfortunately, I didn't eat more than one bite of it and ended up throwing it away. One of the burgers with the Texas Toast was wayyyy too much thick hearty bread to be paired with a bland tiny burger with hardly any cheese. Little disappointed with burgers but the sides and dessert made it worth while. The Mozzarella Sticks were INCREDIBLE and so were the onion rings (almost a hint of vanilla in the homemade batter)!!! I had a peanut butter shake and it was the best I've ever had, hands down! Prices were reasonable, but some things I expected to cost more, were actually less and vice versa.
