Aldi's is like a box store on a much smaller basis. Their prices are very reasonable...they have a fair selection of produce..and what I purchased has been very good. They have a large dairy section with everything from yogurt to milk to shredded cheese. They seem to be a seasonal store as well. They carry items for some ethnic holidays. They have had German week.with typically German foods. They have a limited fresh meat case. They carry a diverse frozen food section and also ice creams. They have a section called "Here today gone tomorrow" this contains various sundries like clothes...planters...toys...etc. They are a bag your groceries yourself store. They have usually 1 cashier...they ring your order out and place it back in the cart. They have a shelf that you can go to to bag your groceries. They also have self service cash registers. One last thing to keep karts from leaving the premises the carts are hooked together with small chains that you use for .25 cents. When you're finished you put your card back and you receive your money when you hook your cart to the one in front of you. All in all Aldi's is a store for all seasons. This is an update on Aldi's parking. They are not very handicap accessible. They have 5 spaces across from the front Door...you would think it was for their disabled customers...But...no these are spaces for on line order pick up. Those cars that have handicapped tags or plates must park on the far side of the building right next to the road...I myself being unable to walk for long distances have a difficult time getting into the store. It would be nice if they could think of us and do something to correct the problem. I am therefore changing my rating to 2 stars if and until they pay more attention to the parking situation of their disabled customers. If and when something is done I will return my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was over a month ago I went in the store and had forgot a quarter for the buggy anyway I grabbed things I wanted and soon was struggling but someone noticed and says donāt move Iāll be right back and soon enough she was as I was putting all my stuff in I dropped a quart of creamer and like three worker swooped in and helped So I say thank you not nearly enough and roll on and all of the sudden it was like I had my very own pit crew ... Apparently when I dropped the creamer it started a slow drip well one of the girls was coming up wiping the floor and followed the trail to my buggy and cleaned it as another girl had already grabbed a new creamer putting in my buggy and took the dripping one. I canāt even tell how cool they were even when I got to the cashier she was awesome What a crew at this store. I canāt even begin to say enough about how they took care of me. Class act....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEasily visit Front St ALDI 2-3 times per week due to close proximity but well worth it even if commute necessary. Staff is wonderful, bend over backwards to help find products/accommodate, are sociable and genuinely friendly. I suspect this company treats their employees very well because they all seem happy in their jobs which makes for a pleasant environment! With the few exceptions that I cannot get there Overwhelmingly my grocery shopping is done at this store- their store brands are wonderful and the German chocolates are better than many āHigh end brandsā because they contain REAL VANILLA whilst these other brands contain the artificial ingredient vanillin- read the...
