They forgot to make my mother cake in her BIRTHDAY THAT I ORDER 3 DAYS BEFORE AND PAY IT FULL. ..They didn't know where they put the my order information. THEY DID APOLOGIZE BUT THEY WILL NOT MAKE ANY CAKE FOR ME. THEY JUST WANT ME TO SING A DOCUMENT WITH OUT ME READING OR GIVING ME A COPY. SO THEY CALL THE COPS ON ME...BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO SING THE DOCUMENT... HE TOLD ME TO LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK. In the end I got a copy of the document but they treated me so bad and say that I was UNPROFESSIONAL THAT I TREATED THE EMPLOYEES BAD AND TOOK PICTURES OF THEM WHEN I DIDN'T. I SHOW THEM MY PHONE AND TOLD THEM CHECK MY PHONE YOU WILL NOT SEE A PICTURE BECAUSE I DID NOT TOOK A PICTURE. THE MANAGER WILL NOT LOOKS AT MY PHONE BUT TREATED ME LIKE I WAS GARBAGE. THE EMPLOYEES LIE TO THE MANAGER AND I DON'T CARE I JUST WANTED TO GET OTHER CAKE FOR TOMORROW BUT THEY REFUSE OF MAKING OTHER CAKE FOR TOMORROW AND THE ONLY SOLUTION THAT THEY FIND IS TO ME TO NOT COME BACK EVER AGAIN. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU GOING TO ORDER A CAKE HERE MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET COPY OF THE INFORMATION BECAUSE I TRUST THIS PEOPLE WHO I REALLY LIKE THE PRODUCT AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THEY DID THIS TO ME I WAS BETRAYED AND TREATED LIKE I WAS GARBAGE. I came to this bakery for the first time. I was looking for something to take to a dinner party. When I first came in I went to the case not knowing what I was looking for. The first person was friendly however when I made my decision (I bought a delicious cake in the case) the people behind the counter were no longer friendly. One young lady got the cake and I also wanted to buy a few things in the counter. For one I couldn’t see the girls because it was so high. Anyway the one who got me the cake and asked someone else to help get the other things I wanted and they were pretty rude and said they were busy. So the girl who got me the cake and to come over and help me. I bought some items for my Grandchildren and bought a turnover for myself. I asked to have mine put in another box because I was going home an hour and a half away. She seemed rather upset about it. Anyway the cake was amazing. It was chocolate cake with chocolate filling, white icing with a peppermint flavor and was decorated beautifully. I took it to my dinner and everyone was impressed and loved it. Because the cake was so delicious I will go back when I come to Syracuse I guess I will just have to deal with the rude people behind the counter. Have been a customer for several years. Don't know any other bakery, as this is a family favorite and traditionally we get cakes for Thanksgiving, Christmas and several birthdays throughout the year. May think differently next time and try another local bakery. Cake was excellent, as per usual. BUT upon picking up my cake, I witnessed the owner mistreating staff. There was a staff member's drink on the counter right near the back room. It was a mystery as to who's drink it was, so the owner asked everyone up front (where customers CAN hear). At first, no confession. Owner went on and on about it, LOUDLY, saying it doesn't matter who's it is, then continued to ask staff who's it was - strange because he had just said it didn't matter. Then a worker revealed who's drink it was. Owner spoke to the staff (who all looked YOUNG, and scared) in a bullying, disrespectful manner. The staff member was embarrassed. Owner didn't know better, or care, to just drop it until customer is not there. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable!! Shame shame. Disgusted with the owner for speaking to his very young staff this way. Not to mention these days that staff member can find a job making probably more just about anywhere.
