UPDATE to Update, this drill is 10 years old now, and it works excellent, extremely well. Ive used it at our home and at work building furniture. At friend's homes, it travels with me whenever I need it. So you can't tell me this isn't a good drill. ORIGINAL battery, too! Tariffs my butt. I bought this socket set 8 years ago. I've changed a couple of the sockets to 6 point units and updated the extensions. Pittsburgh has great tools. Not a fan of of 12 point sockets, have Craftsman for that. But this set has endured a lot of abuse and is mostly original. Still have the original extensions and 1/4 12 point socket. Pittsburgh has some great ratchets, these are all original and they've seen their fair share of work. Too bad they don't sell this unit, or carry the 1/4 socket anymore. New MANAGER BO! Best of fortune to Bo as the new GM here. He left Big Lots as GM there to become the GM at this location. Bo isn't known as "Mr Personality". And he's at least the 4th manager in about 2 or 3 years. Customers are In and out, have a lot of tools here for at home auto repairs. Detail stool broke off a wheel after 3 years. But can be fixed. Still have most of my tools and my drills work very well, as good as my expensive Craftsman, just not quite as powerful. Still gets the job done. Pro series hand tools are still working well after 6 years. Some of the help aren't consumer friendly, like their the competition, such as Ace Hardware. But the prices are still good, tools are solid, no Hassle lifetime warranty on mechanics tools. We're...
Read moreTools and pricing are great. Had a terribly unprofessional encounter with the manager and a cashier. I was told by the cashier to move out of the way because he was already dealing (not helping) with another customer. The manager then scolded me for not standing appropriately in line (there is no signage anywhere to indicate checkout protocol and the tape on the floor is barely noticeable and again, there is no indication the tape in the floor is for checking out). There were about six other people waiting to cash out and several others asked if another cashier was available to help ring out, to which the manager shouted across the room "we're all working and the rest of us are unloading the truck in the back. Be patient.". When I asked her if she could help ring customers out she again shouted "What was that?" In such a tone, it felt as though I was being scolded for even suggesting her lift a finger to help other paying customers.
