WOW!! What a wonderful evening of the best Indian food!!! My Indian friend suggested Masala Heaven. I thought it would be like the other Indian restaurants we have frequented, but was so surprised to be treated to a much higher level of food. We shared a number of appetizers: the Vegetable Samosa, the Baby Corn Manchurian (which I had never tried before) It was like eating vegetable Buffalo chicken wings!! We also had Samosa Chaat which was a delightful mix of chickpeas, yogurt, cilantro garnished with pomegranate seeds! And we also had the Masala dosa. And yummy plain and garlic naan! Each dish was fresh and perfectly flavored. And we could have each dish prepared with our favorite level of heat!!! We enjoyed with our appetizers, the delicious sides of mango chutney, pickled onion, mint chutney, tamarind chutney and Raita!! Everything was so delicious that I asked to bring home the leftover accompaniments, which our server kindly packaged for me and then wrapped in plastic wrap so as not to leak in my takeout bag!! We were too full to get main dishes but didn’t want to miss out on more delicious options! So we soldiered on… I had one of my favorites the Chicken Tikki Masala. I tried my friend’s Lamb Rogan Josh too. I’m not a fan of lamb but it was absolutely delicious!! Cannot wait to return again and try more dishes. I only wished I lived closer to enjoy it more often. Highly...
Read moreWe arrived early around 5:00 pm and we were the only people in the restaurant at the time of arrival. Within an hour, Marsala Heaven was packed. I tried everything that each of my dinner party was having and everything was delicious. You get a choice whether you want mild, medium or spicy in your dishes, I chose medium.
The waiter and wait staff were great at getting our food out within a reasonable amount of time. We did not go away hungry, and we were 100% satisfied. Out of all the Indian restaurants I've been to, this was the best so far.
I highly recommend this place and try different dishes each time you go.
We ordered appetizers, soups, salads and a main meal for each individual person.
The staff are very helpful in helping to identify spice level and what each dish is like s well as the ingredients.
Please go there and try it, it was a great experience, very clean and delish food.
I don't normally give a 100% 5 star reviews, but this place really was the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to and the wait staff and owner were very, very friendly.
If you go there please comment on Google reviews.

Read moreWow! Thank you so much for opening! In my opinion, this is the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in the Syracuse area since India House closed. Beautiful, clean restaurant and outstanding food. Friendly service and easy online ordering, too. Our food was hot and carefully packed and waiting for me when I walked in to pick it up.
We picked up a couple entrees, samosas, and a couple desserts to try, and they were all excellent. The lamb and chicken were well cooked and super tender. The masala sauces were velvety and sweet with great seasoning and the perfect amount of heat. Im a chili-head, so next time I think I’ll try the “Indian hot” heat level. The samosa were also outstanding- crispy shell with tender potatoes and peas that were perfectly cooked. The accompanying tamarind and coriander sauces went great with the samosa and the naan. Just awesome.
Let’s talk about the massive, fluffy naan. Perfect for mopping up that sauce and almost a meal in itself. I love me some naan.
Gulab jamun and kheer were a fantastic way to...
