I came here last night after working all day (10-9 I'm a server) because I was tired and just wanted something quick to eat on the way home. I wanted to give them a second chance because our first visit was mediocre for all the hype (order was completely messed up even after repeating it back to the gentleman but whatever the service was friendly and everyone was very nice. Plus i know its recently opened and has some kinks to work out) So I chose the drive-through thinking that even though they were busy it would take 20 minutes tops (I arrived a little before 930) Ultimately I was stuck in this line with people in front of me and behind me for over an hour before I even got to place my order! (Literally stuck, as if I could have, I would have left the line a long time ago but I had no choice but to wait for the line to move) I get up to order to be informed that the staff has just been informed theirselves that we are only allowed a limited menu as they are now closed. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So I got here before they closed but because they were taking so long to make chicken (literally could have went to the store on my way home and cooked chicken in the amount of time I wasted in this line) they limit what you order to only three things? So I asked if I could just get a frozen lemonade instead because the one I had on my previous visit was really good. Well the answer to that was no. And I should say the poor guy on drive through taking orders did an excellent job of holding it together because the guy two cars ahead of me was not pleasant at all and it wasn't the poor kids fault that we all had waited so long only to be told we couldn't get what we wanted, it's management's. As someone that works in a restaurant I can tell you that the manager should have been the one talking to him and all of us and apologizing like crazy for the inconvenience, but instead she left it to the poor drive through kid. So she had the time to come out to all of us cars tell us they were closed at 10 and rudely ask if I had been in line before then, but she didn't have the time to either help the employees cook or help take orders or talk to all of us who were waiting? I ended up not ordering a thing on this visit and I can't say there will be another. When I got up to the window I was so upset but instead of yelling at the poor employees like the jerk in front of me did, I told them that it wasn't their fault and I know they were working hard and that I hope they had a good night. I didn't even bother asking for the manager because she ran and hid from the rest of the cars after the very upset guy in front of me talked to her. You think she would want to personally apologize to all of us but no, the only thing on her mind was getting home (which I understand since it was 11 at this point and that's all I wanted to do) but it wasn't our fault we got stuck in that line for OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF when we all arrived before 930 and she should have handled that better or cut off the drive through line a long time ago if she knew they were running behind. I can't even fathom what was going on in the restaurant to back everything up that bad. So much...
Read moreThe service at Chick-fil-a on Rt 11 use to be off the charts. Recently, not so much. My wife ordered breakfast on the mobile app and we got to the drive thru prior to 10:30. We went to the outer drive thru and we sat with no one acknowledging us. So I thought perhaps the mic is broke (that was not the case). After a couple minutes and several cars going past in the inner lane..I just proceeded forward. When I got to the window( drive thru door) I explained what happened and was told no problem..just pull forward and my food will be right up. I sat for a few more minutes and the manager sends out an employee (instead of her coming out) to inform me that my order could not be fulfilled because it is after 10:30..I said but it was your fault...they said we know but we just can't do breakfast after 10:30. That is a lack of accountability and customer service. So I asked for a refund....then out of nowhere the manager now appears (blonde lady) saying can I have your card for the refund. So I give it to her annnnnd she refunds me the incorrect amount. So I parked and my wife had to go in to get it corrected. And after all this...her way of "correcting" this entire debacle was....would you like a drink. Smh. They use to give a card or two for a free breakfast. I am a long time patron..and this is unacceptable. Jimmer what is going on? This is not how it use to be. I hate to even give this review but this...
Read moreReturned home from my honeymoon and had a big craving for Chick fil A. We drove straight here from the airport & arrived at 10:30 on the dot (exactly when they switch to serving lunch). I think we were the first lunch order. We pulled around to park & wait for our food and after about 25 mins, got a little concerned. After a few more minutes, I went inside to ask. The girl at the counter was so nice, apologetic & patient. I knew it was an overwhelming time since they had a shift change and menu change and she offered to refund me. They offered to remake our order and bring it right out. Soon after, we got our food. We were sitting in the parking lot & a young guy (Josh!) came out to our car. He introduced himself as a manager and immediately apologized for everything. He said it was unacceptable and his team had informed him what happened. It truly wasn't a big deal to me but he was soooo genuine and kind and accommodating. He actually gave us coupons for future use. I always see the chick FIL a commercials and this experience reminded me of one. They treated us so well and didn't try to make excuses. Josh and his team are top notch and I am so grateful to all of them for being so kind. Can't wait to...
