Pretty much the worst pizza Iāve ever had in my life, the service was so slow it was nonexistent, everyone was confused I ordered two small 10 inch pizzas one with sausage one plain. After about 40 minutes the sausage pie came out all of the sausage was clumped on one side. After about 25 minutes when the second pizza never came out I approached the bartender and asked where the other pizza was and I was told there was a mistake and they only ordered one so they ordered me a 10 inch plain pizza. I thought that would be out pretty quickly after about another 25 or 30 minutes a server came out with a margarita pizza, I said I didnāt order a margarita pizza they brought it back into the kitchen and then they brought it back out to the table again. Finally after much discussion in another 10 or 15 minutes the regular pizza finally came out at that point I was so fed up it was ridiculous. The bill was also incorrect as I was charged for a margarita pizza that I never ordered and I did not eat, I just paid the bill left a small tip and left I will never return and neither will any of my friends. So sad it used to be so good and now I think it compares with Papa Johnās or less. Also they have valet parking which is ridiculous itās a pizzeria and a dive bar . Jesus what are these people thinking, Iād like to say I wish them good luck but I donāt think they will be there too long if they keep on the path...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHereās some advice on this pizza place. The spinach salad is actually great - really good dressing and candied walnuts. The meatballs were very good as well - tasted great with really good tomato sauce. The garlic knots were bizarre - think of deep fried wantons with some garlic and butter fried into them. Not traditional and not my thing
Now the Pizza : Donāt order the smaller 10 inch pizza and donāt order it cut square. Horrible!!! Mine came out cold and it was all cheese, mushy gross especially the inner pieces with blotches of tomato sauce. I asked for it crispy and it was anything but.
Iāve had the larger pie before and it was pretty good so not sure if itās the smaller size that makes it so bad or the kitchen was off tonight. Way overpriced too. Just a word of caution from someone who was born in Brooklyn and has eaten great thin crust pizza from all over NY, NJ and CT for decades.
Finally the wait staff was friendly but something must have been up in the kitchen cause we were the only table and it took 40 minutes to get a pizza which probably accounts for it coming out cold.
Although the apps were good, I had to give it 2 stars on food since the place is called The Pieman and you gotta bring it. Now if they change their name to The AppMan, Iād have given...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFriendly welcoming staff that takes the time to help you choose an order. Food is delicious, I had a vodka pizza and banana bread dessert and they were so good. I just had a craving for pizza and spotted this place on my way home and it was worth the visit. This is definitely one of those places that you may end emptying your wallet, because of the quality of the food and the sweet staff that are always willing to help. I took off one star due to the pizza being pretty salty which would make it difficult with people that need to pay attention to their sodium and the fact that it's very expensive since you are paying 13 dollars just for the pizza and 2 dollars for each topping which will add up if you're very hungry or with a group. Shout out to the owner Austin for being such a sweet heart and taking the time to recommend me some delicious food and hiring such amazing staff. I see you and...
