Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandville

Don't go at peak times. Preference is obviously given to drive thru which is fine but if I've ordered at the counter and am waiting for my food, watching 3-4 cars get theirs before me is very frustrating especially when my order is not very large and contains only 1 small, relatively uncomplicated item. Though well-staffed, is very busy and rushed during these times and I understand the chaos. The people at the registers are kind and polite and pretty quick at getting coffee orders ready for those standing in line. It can be a bit confusing though, asking for a coffee order while behind a register you're not going to use. Having been through the routine before, I knew I was going to pay at the second register, but many people tried to pay to girl getting the coffee started... But that just me being picky.

Overall, I'll still go to this store if it's on my way, but I think I'll stick to the drive thru next time. If you're pressed for time or grow impatient easily, try one of the other two stores in town at a peak time or day. If you're not in a hurry and/or don't get mad at people trying to do their jobs the best they can, this one...

Absolutely horrible experience at this Dunkin’. From the moment I walked in, Johanna greeted me with the enthusiasm of a brick wall; just stared blankly and practically sighed after each item I ordered, snapping “is that it?” like I was inconveniencing her by… ordering food at a restaurant.

My girlfriend ordered the $6 meal deal, and somehow they rang it up as $11, charging each item individually. When I pointed it out, the staff acted like I was the problem and was confused as to what I was talking about. The girl handling the refund was beyond rude and condescending, gave zero explanation about when the refund would hit my account, and acted like she was doing me a favor.

The staff here might be the most dysfunctional, slow-moving group I’ve ever seen in any food place. No communication, no urgency, no clue. By the time they finally figured out how to give me a refund, my bagel was cold and the whole experience had drained my will to live. Avoid this place unless you enjoy frustration...

The staff were unfriendly and rude. When taking my order, the woman didn’t even greet me or ask for my order, she just started at me and waited for me to talk. Very unwelcoming and odd. I ordered the $6 meal deal and I was charged separately for every item in the deal, costing me way more than it should have. When it was brought up, they told me the meal deal only comes with the bacon egg and cheese and that’s why it was charged separately, because I ordered the sausage egg and cheese. In reality, I didn’t even specify which sandwich because when you order the meal deal you already know it comes with a bacon egg and cheese so that made no sense at all. When I was refunded, they were very condescending about it and overall very rude. The store was not busy at all so I really don’t understand what the issue was. Bad...
