Charlie's — Restaurant in Town of Cuba

Visited with my daughter yesturday. I was very disappointed. Trays piled on the garbage right inside the door, customers waiting for their order to be fixed because they weren't given the right order, and we waited at the counter for around 15mins to order. The girl working out front was visibly frazzled and the only employee taking care of ice cream, register and drive thru. If I wouldn't have spoke up who knows how long we would have stood there. This young lady wasn't pleasant either. If you can't handle a few customers inside and a few at the window 1 you should probably find a different job that doesn't require you to be fast paced and 2 the employer should have trained fully staffed employees. We won't be stopping again...

Food is great. Hours are appalling. They aren't open on Mondays, nor do they open until 3pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays & then not until noon for the remainder of the week. To make matters worse, they stop selling anything but ice cream well before their advertised closing time. What's the point of even existing if every time someone goes to place an order, it turns out that you're closed or aren't even bothering to make food. I used to consider this a 5 star eatery because the food was impeccable, but I'd actually have to be able to consume the food in order to continue giving this place such a high rating. And so, 1 star it is. Think about the customer Charlies ... access...

Update: Keeping review at one star because my order was absolutely terrible. We got our sandwiches to go otherwise I would have taken them back. We got grilled chese sandwiches but these were not made on a grill. They had a slight toast mark in the middle but otherwise the bread was as soft as it is coming out of a bag. Ridiculous. Food used to be pretty good here but it's gone downhill. While waiting for food I watched as a cook from the back came out to give an order to a customer and he asked her to pull a gray hair from the tip of his nose and she did. Never...
