I normally really like this McDonalds. I think it's the best McDonald's in the county. It has the same management. They used to have very little turnover of staff. Very clean Place. Very prompt service. I just went through the drive up today and I was disappointed. I also went through to drive up last week and I was disappointed. First off I don't know who in corporate decides how many sauces that you're supposed to get for nuggets but it's clearly not people who eat nuggets. I got 6 piece nugget and they only give you one sauce now. I was told that's the new number of sauces they're giving. 1 sauce with McDonald's nuggets does not even barely do 4 nuggets. Now Wendy's nuggets they are a lot smaller than McDonald's and one sauce cup would definitely be fine for 4 nuggets. So to find out now that they're not giving you two sauces for six nuggets is ridiculous. And they only give you two sauces for 10 nuggets. I'm really going to complain to corporate about this. Today's experience was I was on the line for under 10 minutes. I used to do Secret shopping for years for McDonald's and that's not acceptable. All I ordered was a drink which I was getting for free with the app. They kept coming to the window with food I'm saying, that's not mine. I said again that's not mine. I only ordered to drink don't you know whose number comes out next.? They're looking all around for my stuff never seen these employees before. They must all be new employees. They hand me my McFlurry through the window and I had to ask for napkins. And I had to ask for a straw and the girl made an attitude about it. I looked at her clearly you can see I have a disability. I said I have a eating disability I need a straw and extra napkins. I shouldn't have to qualify why I need a straw or napkins. I didn't see any managers in there that I recognized. It seemed that people were horsing around at the counter which I could tell from the window. I sat at the window for 5 minutes while I was waiting for somebody to make my McFlurry. So I can see people were clearly running around in there and confused and not knowing whose food was supposed to go where. I hope management sees this and sees what happened today at their store. Like I said I really like this McDonald's and normally nice people clean place and everything usually...
Read moreThe only thing that you can get from the drive-through that comes out correct is chicken nuggets, if you order anything else looking to get a hamburger with no cheese on it is absolutely impossible they lie right to your face telling you that you have no cheese open the box what a big surprise ruins the whole lunch after you drive all the way home I can’t tell you how many times I have walked back inside returned my food and gotten my money back I’m really not sure the incompetence that it takes to get a job there but I can only imagine it’s probably more a management dilemma if management isn’t watching or teaching correctly how can you expect lower paying jobs to do the work correctly if you’re looking for a job and don’t care if you get the order correct or do anything at all correct then McDonald’s in Dover Plains is your place for a job go on the website and get your job application today they will hire anyone if it is long as...
Read moreManager insisted we ordered 2 fries instead of fried and apple slices for my daughters happy meal. He said no you ordered fries no salt but ill just give them to you(weird he remembered they werent supposed to have salt yet they were salted). Proceeded to dig his hand in the box to take out the extra fry. Really wish he would have just checked the reciept to see we did indeed order apple slices instead of accusing us of being in the wrong. Photo of my reciept included. This was our first bad experience from a bunch of visits so we will keep going but hopefully the manager realized his mistake and can do better...
