East Fishkill Provision — Restaurant in Town of East Fishkill

I absolutely love this place. We recently moved to the area and come every Saturday morning for breakfast. Rose welcomes you in her big voice as you come through the door, which always puts a smile on your face. The food is incredible, but the service is even better. Today, I ordered a last minute 3-foot American hero and Rose did everything she could to make it happen. Not only did she make it happen, the hero was ready by 11:00. Just wow. The hero itself was so tasty. Some of the best cold cuts I have ever had. Talk about quality! Also, the sides were very delicious. We got the pasta salad (not the mayo one) and the potato salad (not the mayo one). The potato salad was out of this world. Smoky, pieces of bacon, great slices of potato - you couldn’t ask for anything better. I could honestly eat a pound of that potato salad on my own! Anyway, I’m so glad that we stumbled across this incredible establishment. I look forward to our Saturdays and future catering needs....

EXCELLENT deli with a German flare! The place is (or is run like) a family operation. It's CLEAN. The staff is SUPER. The food is first rate. Even the clientele are warm and friendly. A total gem of Dutchess County. I frequent the place for the fresh Kielbasa and land yeager. They also offer a selection of hot and cold sandwiches. Today I had the BEST corned beef I ever ate! They do catering. I've had the pleasure of eating one of their roasted pigs and it was the best! In season, they do various venison preps. I've had the sausage several times and loved it. This place is unique and wonderful. Just go there. Oh, they have a sister operation a few miles away. Google...

To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of the deli items I ordered. The coleslaw was rather sweet and the pulled pork tasted like cinnamon or allspice or something like that had been added to it. Adding sugar to coleslaw is common in Germany and this is a German deli and it is also not their fault that I don't like cinnamon type spices with meat. If I'm reading the food just on freshness and quality they would get five stars. Their staff would also receive five stars. I'm only giving four though because I didn't really care...
