Mill Creek Caterers — Local services in Town of East Fishkill

My now husband and I are still processing how perfect our wedding day was at Mill Creek Caterers. From the moment we stepped in there we were hooked, lucky for us it was the first place we toured. We looked at a few other places but found ourselves comparing it to Mill Creek. Joan, Carissa, Amy, and all the staff are truly the nicest people I've ever met. Joan kept in touch with me throughout the year leading up to the wedding checking in on how we were getting along with planning and ensuring every part of our wedding day was what we wanted. Then the tasting was so organized and we were more excited for the food than our ceremony after that. Joan wrangled in all the personalities from our families and friends for the rehearsal. The big day went on without a hitch, i cannot describe how amazingly run this place is to the point my husband and I enjoyed the night without worrying. Amy constantly came to check to make sure we were good and fed, the bartender kept handing us our favorite drinks, and the food i wish i could eat it all the time. The venue itself is so beautiful, from the garden area where there was refreshments for the ceremony, to the cocktail hour where Joan added a personal touch to match my vibes (everyone LOVED the skeletons) to the stations of food and passed h'orderves (which the venue sent home a box of the following day) to the reception it exceeded my expectations. Went there today for brunch with Santa. There were 12 of us in total, two of which are handicapped - 1 with a prosthetic leg and walks with a cane, the other with knee and back issues. Both have handicapped stickers in their vehicles. As they proceeded to look for handicapped parking we noticed an orange dodge ram pickup truck with no handicapped permit parked in handicapped . The truck was parked in such a way that it took up both handicapped spaces. The parking lot was packed and the only parking was far away and these two people had to walk quite a distance to get into the venue. A member of our party called Fishkill police who immediately came. The officer advised us it was the owners vehicle and he placed a courtesy call to the owner and did not issue him a ticket. How sad that the owner does not respect those who are handicapped. Never going back...

Mill Creek Caterers is a hidden gem! We just had my daughter’s bridal shower there and we were so pleased with the venue, the food, and the staff. Joan helped me plan out the schedule for the day and Joan and Carissa made sure the day went smoothly. I loved that Joan found a picture and even reached out to Katie Rose bakery to see if they could make the cake look like a pie (our theme was “She’s off the market"). The venue is bright and cheery and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had some last minute changes and they handled them quickly and with a smile. The food was delicious and plentiful from the fresh fruit at arrival, the salad, the penne alla vodka, and the lunch. The cake was from Katie Rose Bakery and it was heavenly!
