Burger King — Restaurant in Town of Gates

I was in a few weeks ago and had lodged a legitimate complaint to which I was contacted by the general manager who rightly apologized and offered me a credit stating I just needed to pop in at anytime and state my name for a complimentary meal. I stopped in with a friend at 7:52 pm this evening and informed the front counter person that I had a credit coming. The man in his 50s couldn't find it and proceeded to question me as to whom I talked to, and then asked me " well, what do you want get?" with a look of suspicion towards me like I'm trying to scam a free meal. I said " forget it". I left the building while my friend waited for his food. He overheard the man say ," well what am I supposed to do? He didn't tell me what he wanted?". REALLY? I wanted to know what I was entitled to? I wanted to be treated like a customer and not a scammer? I wanted to be treated like a person, not a freeloader? I wanted the free meal I was offered by the GM? I wanted to be treated like a human being? The way he flipped through the credit sheet, he didn't even look? I've never reviewed a Burger King before, but this time I felt compelled to do so. Was here last night, 8/20 around 6pm. The place was filthy to the point of being a health hazard. There was one person ahead of me and we waited for our food together. He commented on the filthy conditions and said, "I hope I don't get sick". I would've left but you know how it is when you're pressed for time. In looking over the counter into the preparation area there was overflowing garbage all over the floor from a receptacle that hadn't been emptied. There were dirty cooking materials piled 2 feet high on a counter. The floors were strewn with old food and debris. There was a dirty mop and dirty water sitting in a bucket just outside the counter. The staff operated like a whirling vortex of incompetence--I know this is the norm everywhere these days but it just made matters worse. Recently visited several locations in my Rochester NY area for the poorly advertised Adam's family combo. I was charged a total of $49 just to confirm the actual items I wanted. No substitute option and cashier purposely allowed a standard order never verified fries or onion rings so of course she missed my requested churro fries and shake of which I thought was the point of the combo. I had both manager and assistant manager offer everything but to reduce the cost of the interaction. Upon my leaving the store both managers choose to pick up tools to repair a door. I opted for a second exit and was screamed at by the manager and told I could come her way and she would give me her corporate manager number. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN AND LOOKING TO FURTHER ESCALANTE THE MATTER FOR SEVERAL REASONS.
