THE THEATRICAL RELEASE... I have never been disappointed at Mr. Beenz Diner. They serve a great breakfast or lunch for a very reasonable price. This is one of only two restaurants I have ever been to that gets my scrambled eggs right. I like them a wet scramble, others can't understand what that means. Their selection of omelets puts to shame most other diners/restaurants I have been to in the area. The coffee is great and your cup is rarely empty. Their lunch selection is spot on as well. They are open for breakfast and lunch only, but can order either at anytime of the day. It is also on the RTS bus route for those of you without transportation.
THE DIRECTOR'S CUT... Mr. Beenz Diner is a family diner that has a great variety of breakfast and lunch dishes, but not so much as to overwhelm you like other diners in the area. They also offer daily specials. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm, Saturday 6 am to 2 pm and Sunday 7 am to 2 pm. The staff is always friendly and quick to service and rarely is my coffee cup empty. It is a small diner, but I like those type of places, it feels more homey and casual. It isn't as loud as many of the other restaurants around the area either, it is comfortable and cozy. It is a little tucked away but still can be seen while driving on Buffalo Rd. Just take the turn onto Marway Circle and it is right there on the corner.
Their omelets are delicious and they have a large selection to choose from. Anything from ham and cheese to several specialty omelets like Asparagus and cheese or Spinach Florentine. At the time of this review they range from $7.49 to $7.99 and come with potatoes and toast both of your choice. I think the most expensive breakfast item is their steak and eggs at just $10.99 for a flat iron steak, two eggs, potato and toast. They also have some of the best Benedict's around. The poached eggs are always perfectly cooked with just a small layer of gelled egg and an oozing center or can be ordered any way you like. Their best one, in my opinion, is the Irish Benedict. It has corned beef hash on top of a perfectly toasted english muffin with a runny poached egg and covered with a flavorful hollandaise sauce sprinkled with a touch of paprika.
I absolutely am addicted to their pancakes. They are some of the fluffiest I have had around here. They are always cooked just right, golden brown on the outside and pillow soft on the inside. The only thing I wish they had was real maple syrup, hint hint if you are reading this Mr. Beenz people. Their Belgian waffles are great as well. With that crispy outer layer and soft inside with those deep pockets to hold the butter and syrup.
Have only been their for lunch a couple of times. Their burgers are juicy and cooked exactly how I order them, medium rare. Their Club sandwich is to die for. I always order it on their sour dough bread. The bread is toasted perfectly, not the typical "restaurant toast" that is half toasted because they were in a hurry. It is piled high on three layers of bread with turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon and just the right amount of mayo. Their fries are cloud like in the center surrounded by a golden brown crispness. They are always fresh and still piping hot. They have a few other club sandwiches to choose from as well.
Whether it is breakfast or lunch the food is always hot and quick to the table even if they have a full house, hats off to the cooks. I am always amazed that the food arrives so quick when the diner is completely full.
So, f you find yourself over on Buffalo Road and hungry for a great breakfast or lunch stop by Mr Beenz Diner. Being on the RTS bus route makes it convenient for anyone. It is a small diner and they fill up quickly so get there early. Even if they are full they turn over tables relatively quickly so you shouldn't wait too long. Trust me, even if you have to wait a bit it is well worth it!

Read moreThis was our first time eating at this place! We had never heard of this restaurant until I looked up" best breakfast places to eat that's near the airport" and this restaurant came up. At first when we were driving to it, it seemed a little sketchy the location but when we pulled up and saw it was a small hole in the wall and busy we couldn't wait to sit down! There are definitely regulars that go there because the waitress knew them by name which is really nice and also knew to just sit where ever. There isn't many tables probably about 4 sitting tables and about 5 booths. There is sitting at the counter and you can see into the kitchen and watch the cooks make your food! Its very clean and organized. My kids ordered pancakes and they were the size of the plates! Fluffy and delicious! My brother ordered this "garage plate" breakfast which he said was very good! I had sausage biscuits and gravy which is my fave and always have to order it at any new breakfast restaurant. Very delicious! Biscuits are good and gravy with a good amount of sausage in it! The eggs were scrambled soft which was perfect! Very delicious breakfast! It's far for us to drive but if we're ever waiting on a flight and have time we will eat...
Read moreLet's talk about this place. We walked in and got a warm greeting immediately by a very busy server. She took our info and we waited for a table. while waiting, it was clear that this place was the spot to go for many locals of all ages, so many happy faces and the sounds of people enjoying their meals. The Vibe checks out. We waited about 10 minutes for a table, easy peasy. Our drink order was taken and received quickly. The coffee was quite good. We had our cups topped off several times without having to ask. Our food came out in good time, hot, delicious, and as ordered. I had the corn beef hash omelet, home fries, and raisin toast. Portion sizes were large but not ridiculous. Everything was delicious!!! But the service was the shining star. My only regret is that we don't have a Mr Beenz Diner in our area of Ohio. Thank you for a lovely breakfast, and happy...
