Number One Rochester Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Gates

My family very often ordered from this restaurant, but they had some practices that really chased us away. If you order sesame chicken, you’ll get the good chicken on the top and the bottom is so hard and overcooked. You need to throw it in the trash. I don’t know about other orders, but this one definitely they have been doing for a long time. We thought we go back and try it one more time but the same thing they use old chicken on the bottom, maybe fried two or three times so hard you can’t bite into it when I called the restaurant to let them know of my complaint. Pork fried Rice taste like nothing. No flavor at all. Orange chicken was so gross. It tasted like old fried left overs. Soggy & dry all at the same time. Majority was balls of greasy batter with no chicken inside, & the bits that did have chicken were dry & stringy. I was disgusted & couldn’t finish any of it. The service is fast, the people are always friendly, and the food is always good! The vegetable fried rice is slightly bland for my usual tastes, but the portions are huge and they even threw in an extra egg roll for us. The curry chicken with onions is delicious, and the sesame shrimp is exceptionally tasty. I only wish they’d make their location more visible because they’re hard to find unless you’re already familiar with it. I‘ll definitely be back...
