Lighter Side Eatery — Restaurant in Town of Geneseo

12:00 - Placed order over phone for delivery at 12:30- Confirmed with attendant, she said it would be here in 1/2 an hour. (We are a place of business, lunch is at 12:30). LIE.

12:50 - Still no delivery. Called, spoke to a female attendant, she said she was packing it up now, it would be here in 10 minutes. LIE

1:30 - Called (after numerous looks out the door to see if anyone was coming) and spoke to a male attendant. Asked where our order was. He asked "What's the name its under"? We said "G*". He said "Oh Yeah, here it is. It must have fallen through the cracks, but it's not made yet so at least its not sitting out getting warm! We can make it now, do you still want it? " At least he didn't lie. Since everyone had already missed their lunch hour and we were lied to twice, we just told him we would never be back so not to bother. We hung up the phone somewhere while he was trying to apologize.

UPDATE: I changed my review from one to three stars as the manager at least called us back after speaking to his employee, and although her story still didn't match what she actually said to us, he was gracious enough to call and apologize. We still will not be returning...

We ordered Veggie Burger Mini plate w/sweet potatoes fries; Mac salad and beans and grilled cheese and we are very very mad. First the delivery was for 4:27pm and the driver did not arrive until almost 4:50, which is very disappointing when you order a grilled cheese. Who wants cold cheese and the grilled cheese was burned beyond cooked. The macaroni and cheese had no flavor. Will never ever order...

I was in Geneseo Ny today for business and was looking for a healthier option for a restaurant. The Lighterside Eatery was recommended from one of my clients. This is an excellent choice if your looking for fresh salads and Pitas. Although it is a pretty simple restaurant, the place is very clean and the food is fresh.
