I had a really great lunch here a few weeks ago. This is another place I have driven by dozens of times and never thought to stop.
The restaurant is cozy with maybe 8 tables plus some counter seating. It was a warm and inviting space, and I didn't feel awkward as a solo diner.
The waitress was pleasant and friendly, bustling from table to table and making sure everyone had what they needed.
The food, though, oh my goodness far exceeded my expectations. I selected the black and blue burger (no pink) with fries and potato salad. The burger was cooked perfectly medium well but still juicy and flavorful. It was absolutely delicious. The French fries were so good, I have been thinking about going back just for them. I love handcut fries, and these were spot on.
They offer a discount if you pay with cash and the prices can't be beat. The bill came to just over $12 with tax and before tip for all of this food. I can't wait to try...
Read moreThis is GENUINELY the best breakfast I have ever had in my entire life. I ate here for the first time last week, and I could not stop raving about the fresh ingredients and the quality of the food. The prices are AMAZING! I have never seen such a high quality breakfast for such a low price! The service is amazing, a small family owned business that does the most for their customers. The blueberry pancakes are the best I have ever had. They are the perfect amount of crispy and soft in the middle. The eggs benedict is delicious, as well as their BLT lunch option. Their pasta salad on the side was delicious as well! Every time I come to Glenville I look forward to coming here for breakfast. Such great people and food! If you are ever in Glenville PLEASE come here for a delicious breakfast and to support a local family owned...

The last few times we have ordered breakfast and asked for eggs over hard, they have arrived runny. The time before today we sent them back; again today I sent mine back right away. My wife hadn't checked hers yet. Low and behold hers, too, were runny to the point of being not edible. She couldn't eat them, but didn't send them back out of frustration. They knew the problem, saw that the eggs were left on the plate, and didn't even offer to deduct the cost. It seems like a very simple thing to get correct, especially when you offer breakfast from start to close. Customer satisfaction...
