We stopped in here Friday afternoon our way from Syracuse to Latham for a bowling tournament. What an amazing decision, as we have never been here! My husband and I sat at the bar and we were instantly welcomed by the bartender who happened to be the owner. He was very knowledgeable with his taps and beer selections in general. Great local beer selections on tap and a small cooler on the side full of cans available for sale. The food… omg the food!!!! We started with the wings, they were crispy, juicy, fresh and slightly breaded. For our lunch we both got the taproom fried chicken sandwich, and let me tell you… I never eat my full sandwich and I woofed that thing down with no regrets! The fried chicken was tender and juicy, topped with a tangy coleslaw, bread and butter pickles with a sriracha aioli atop a brioche bun. Although I am not a french fry person, my husband loved the crispy fries! Phenomenal all around, atmosphere, food and drinks. The locals truly love this place also and were very knowledgeable with the surrounding areas great food/drink spots! Can’t wait to go back again!

We went for dinner and drinks. Had some pros and cons. Parking in the area was kind of difficult. Made worse by the snow. Our seating options were "High top right near the front door" or "table right next to the bathroom". And then there was a considerable wait time before our drink order was taken. In that time we noticed the draft the ran through every time someone came or left and some discomfort from the chairs. There are backing rails that encompass the outside above the seat, which had my hips right up against both sides(I'm 5'10 and like 180 pounds). So my wife and I found ourselves sitting on the edges of the seats so as not to be squished. Our server was attentive once he freed up and took the time to explain things to us and checked up on us pretty frequently. My wife's food was undercooked; they confirmed, apoligized, and remade it without incident which was no big deal. And it came back out as quickly as it could. Have to give them additional props for their beer selection. Great representatives of a lot of different styles. And their food was really good with generous portion sizes.

Mohawk Taproom more than lived up to the wonderful things we had heard. To start, my husband loves good bourbon and the list of options made his day. His favorite of the 2 he sampled was a 15 year Knob Creek. And the food - oh my goodness! Crispy waffle fries sturdy enough to hold up to the most delicious beer cheese. I kept eating knowing I was risking having enough room for the meals we ordered. Next came the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and the fried chicken sandwich. The husband loved the amount of bacon; some places put so little on, that the bacon is more of an afterthought. Not the case here. I would have liked a little more ranch perhaps, but it was seriously delicious. The fried chicken sandwich was also perfection; crisp, well cooked, and well seasoned. And the pickles! Definitely homemade and a little sweet with a little heat. My only sadness was that I couldn't finish the last few bites of my half. This place is seriously amazing- if you haven't already been, go now!

First timer on a weeknight and my wife and I brought our little ones. Not kid friendly here. That's not to say that they didn't like kids, but that the atmosphere didn't lend itself to easily dealing with small children. It's a bar you say? Sure, but it still could have had a booster seat for the table section. Regardless, we tried the burgers since we were told that they make them awesome. I'd say that the burgers were very good, but not awe inspiring. Solid four stars and we'd give them a second try without the kids. UPDATE on August 2019 Went back with the kids and had another burger. It was good. My wife loved her wrap. The homemade pickles are excellent with a little heat to them. Saw quite a few families with kids this time. I stand by the solid four stars.

As referenced by the name this is obviously a beer centered establishment.Constantly changing selection of niche craft beers, definitely on the pricey side but that's the cost of rare beers.Mostly geared toward IPA's and sours but a few different options for everyone. The food I ordered definitely missed the mark, ordered the chicken sandwich as I thought it would be a safe bet, unfortunately it was terribly dry to the point that I couldn't even finish the second half. The fried green beans were pretty good, better than the main course.Service was also very good .Id be willing to give this place another shot but as mentioned it seems the focus is on the beer and maybe not so much the food.
