Hands down the WORST experience at a restaurant yet. Waited an hour and a half for our APPETIZERS to come out while we patiently watched other tables, who had arrived much later, receive their food realitvley quickly. When we questioned the waitress on why we had been left waiting so long she had no idea what we had even ordered and then proceeded to tell us that it’d be out in 5 minutes. About 15 minutes after that our food comes out, which obviously had been forgotten to be placed in the kitchen in the first place. I mean it was literally chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks, nothing crazy. When we asked for the manager to complain about how long we waited she told us that she would check with the waitress and kitchen to see if our story was true, but that there was nothing she could do. She then refused to accept responsibility for the incompetence of her waitress, which we’ve had issue with prior, and instead blamed it on the kitchen being backed up, which we had obviously known wasnt true. We then asked to speak to TJ, who wasn’t even there, the manager said she would call him. She comes back 10 minutes later and said again that he said there’s nothing they can do. We were asking for less than a 50% reduction on the bill and that was too much for him apparently. $39 off a $91 dollar bill....... absolutely absurd. As a business owner myself these are things you take on the chin for the sake of customer service. All business owners know that the customer comes first and keeping people happy keeps people coming back. Something TJ clearly knows nothing about. Obviously he cares too much about shaking people down with his half rate staff and terrible food. TJ and his employees need a crash course on some customer service and respect, especially for customers that frequent here like us. Otherwise the business is going to suffer. I know I won’t be back and neither will the people we were with. Please refer to yelp, where it seems like a lot more people than us hated it there as well. Johnny obviously knows how to run a business better. Never have had an issue...

"That was a lot of turkey meat."

Ordered ahead of time over the phone for a pickup a few hours later, going with the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, a Turkey Ruben Panini, and the Pumpkin Lava Cake.

I will say pickup was easy, but getting into the parking lot was interesting. You either need to illegally cross a couple double yellow lines to make a left into the entrance, or you have to go all the way around behind the airport so you can make the right into the entrance. And if you're me, and coming from Malta, the choice is more yellow than you may think.

When I got home and opened it all up I had some mixed feeling. The turkey ruben was clearly packed with meat, but the rye bread looked burnt. The "lava" cake was volcano shaped I guess, but lacked any kinda of "lava" center as the frosting was just sitting there. And the pretzel sticks looked great, but felt as hard as a bagel.

Digging into it, I was right about the pretzels, they were as tough as a toasted bagel, but tasted great none the less. Though they really needed more dipping cheese. The turkey ruben was juicy and so darn packed with meat, and while I was wrong about the rye being burnt (it just looked like it), there was just too much turkey for the ruben to be enjoyed. I'd recommend at least 1/4 less meat. As for the pumpkin "lava" cake, well, it was certainly pumpkin flavored, nice and spicy, but that frosting bit really did only go about as deep as a scoop. It paired fine with the cake, a cream cheese flavor, but like the cheese dip for the pretzels it wasn't enough for the entire cake.

Coming to a total of $35, I found the price to be acceptable, just need a few minor tweaks to make the...

This restaurant is a step up from what I would call "pub" food! The bar staff was friendly and took very good care of us. They refilled classes and kept checking in with us, even though it was super busy. I had a burger, cooked as I asked. It was hearty and I asked for the BBQ on the side, and they did it! The loaded tater tots were actually too 👍 good. Loaded with cheese and cooked perfectly crispy. The other food we saw that came out- looked just as good.

I should have tried the specials that they had posted on an a frame sign at the door, but I had my heart set on a burger that night, my loss, as they looked delicious.

Good parking along the side of the building and easy access in the front and what appeared to be a seasonal patio out back.

It was so busy when we got there on a Friday night at 6:30, we just started to wait for a table, they kept coming back to us suggesting the bar as not to have to wait, so we finally gave in, and really enjoyed that experience. Sat with some nice folks, they seemed like regulars and so we had some laughs and it made the atmosphere friendly. It's a great neighborhood type tavern, with good food, a nice selection of music, and friendly people. Will definitely go back! Damn those...

Update: the spinach dip was back as a special!!!! They've made some great improvements that make it easier for the waitstaff to do water and soft drinks which just improves efficiency and overall experience. Staff are very free and attentive. Wings are always amazing. New drink specials were an awesome addition. That cherry lime mule was the bomb!! We wish they brought back the spinach dip or some similar hot vegetarian dip option however. That was a staple for our group over the years. Also they should SERIOUSLY consider staying open until midnight on Thursday at least in the summer. 😔
