Who ever the cheapskate is that's running this joint is maximizing profit margins at the expense of quality and timeliness.
Saturday at 4pm there's 2!!...TWO!!!..people working. Of the last 6 times we've ordered from there we've been missing items from our meal 5 of the 6 times.
And that's with us having told the people working we were previously missing items.
Understaffed and undertrained and in a rush. You're going to get poor service and bad quality.
So much for any hope that the new owners would be any different from the old ones.

0 Stars. If you want the one McDonald's location that will always let you down this is the one. Over the course of 9 years the only thing consistent is the owners. So you have to imagine that these greedy people might actually be the root cause of horrible service, cold food, burnt fries, and host of other issues. Don't leave without triple checking your order because they probably forgot something and something is probably completely wrong. I've lost count the number of complaint forms I've filled out against this location. It's worth driving an extra 15 minutes to Niagara Falls or Tonawanda just to avoid the cold burnt food and atrocious service you'll get at this joint. You're better off going to the Burger King on the island as their staff actually seem to care if you get what you ordered. I've never seen such a mismanaged franchise in my life. I wish corporate would come in and take the franchise away from these owners and give it to someone else so we could actually have a decent McDonalds on the island. This place is a joke and one step above a scam. Visit at your own peril and best avoided for other places that care about...

Unfortunately, because my son loves Happy Meals and this McDonald’s is the closest to us, we’ve given them far too many chances. Almost every single visit comes with frustration—missing items, painfully long wait times, or apathetic staff.
Today was the final straw. I placed an order for my family through the app, and when we got our food, one of the items I ordered was missing from the bag. When I called to resolve it, the woman who claimed to be the manager flat-out told me she packed the bag herself and insisted the item was included. In other words, she accused me of lying instead of making it right. Why would I call to report a missing item if it were actually there? To make it worse, she refused to issue a refund. That’s not just bad service—that’s stealing from customers.
This isn’t an isolated mistake. This location is notorious for leaving out items, mixing up orders, and making customers wait unreasonable amounts of time. I’ve even had cashiers admit they’re understaffed, which is no surprise given the unprofessional and combative behavior of the so-called management. Good employees cannot thrive under leadership like this.
I’ll be escalating my complaint with corporate and my credit card company, because apparently, that’s the only way to get accountability. A manager who treats paying customers this way should not be in customer service, and this location desperately needs an overhaul of its management team.
If you value your time, your money, or basic respect, avoid this McDonald’s at all costs. Drive the extra distance to a different location—you’ll thank...
Read moreI do not usually go to the island but I took my daughter to the fun center . So I went up the street to this place . I pull up to drive through, there's 4 cars in front of me ( which is expected) . I get to the speaker and a worker says I'll be with you in a minute. We'll that minute turned into 10 . When I asked she came back on and says I'll be with you in a minute. I said it's been 10 minutes already . Someone else gets on and decides to laugh at me when asking what I want . Forward up to getting to the 1st window another kid takes my card for payment hands it back to me and closes the window . That's it ! So I wait another 5 minutes he notices me comes and opens the window and says what do you need . We'll I need my receipt. Was told to go up the last window and get it there. I go up the last window thr same girl who took my order throws my bag at me and continues to laugh at me . I check my bag and they gave me the wrong sauce ( which I stated when placing the order ) ahe turns around talks to someone at a whisper and laughs. Tosses the sauce at me ans shuts the door. I pull away aggravated and really pissed off open my bag and all the fries are stons cold the burger was stale and cold , like eating rubber . Worst place I have ever gone to . Will not return - ever !!! Then when I called corporate to complain I get a generic email from the district with not even a little empathy shown . I email back because still pissed to recieve a response that the issue was being handled . If anyone did anything like this situation they'd be fired . People feel entitled to treat others like garbage and have no accountability. Never will I return. Worst...
