Ardsley Market Fresh & Deli — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

we have been going to this deli, out of our way from tarrytown to ardsley about once a week since we moved here. the sandwiches are great and we love them but today we found out that they charge for basic garnishes (lettuce tomato onion). an extra $.50-$1. not for things like extra proteins, which is universal. for the basic makeup of a sandwich. per them if you create your own sandwich all that comes included in the price is the bread mayo and meat…. and they tried to argue that this is universal and the way it is anywhere. absolutely the hell not. if i get a sandwich at any other place they have add ons that are included in the price (typically mayo lettuce onion tomato!) and then the extras that cost more like avocado or extra cheese. they went back and forth with us about how this was normal and not exceptionally bullshit and this is the last time we’ll order there because we can’t trust their...

I have used this market on more than several occasions after the gym. Not only is it a market, but they have great fresh foods cooked on a daily basis lunch and dinner. The food is excellent. It's very helpful in getting item is very quickly. They have great bagels and coffee. I've had some nice size sandwiches here as well. They have a little bit of everything, so if you're on the run it's a good place to go. I will say it's not cheap. The staff is friendly and the owners are on site.
