V.E Macy Park — Attraction in Town of Greenburgh

Macy Park is simply an outstanding place to have family gatherings in great weather. You can also utilize the park in the Winter time for iceskating. It can be a very peaceful and tranquil environment. The park specializes in ballgames for kids and softball. Trails and ponds add to its beauty. It contains a large gazebo where you can house family functions and eat just in case it rains. Do let me warn you though, when it rains the place gets flooded. Macy Park is in the village of Ardsley, so in order to book a function there, it would be suggested that you start by getting permission. There are ample bathroom facilities and places nearby to buy food and enjoy a picnic or barbecue. Macy Park has been around for a very long time and it is used by families all over the county. Within the park, there are places to sprawl out and soak up the sun or get plenty of shade. You can create endless games to play for kids or enjoy just reading a book underneath a tree. Nice place, nice quiet place to walk for exercise and relaxation, especially weekdays, but they don't have the toilets available last time I went there. Or a port-to-potty at least. I found one by the maintenance work area but they will not let you use it. 1-2 weeks ago. May have changed now because of the warmer weather 2-3 days ago. Hope those dog owners put their dogs on its leash as well at least when they get 6ft-10ft closer to other individuals. Especially if there are kids. This is a large park with multiple fields. The baseball fields are in very good condition, bleacher seating is available, or you can bring your own chair and sit along the baselines. Parking is ample and the portable public toilets are clean and well maintained. What I like most about the baseball fields is that the spectators are protected by a web netting which allows a great view of the game.
