Carvel — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

Some of the worst service ever experienced. The younger female employees have absolutely ZERO customer appeal. No cordial greeting, no customer service, attitude like you being in the shop is a nuisance to them. There needs to be better training with a lot of the staff. (There is only one friendly female worker who is actually helpful.) The male employees have been helpful and kind. Every time I drive by I look to see who is in the window before I go in.

Update— I gave this location several other chances on different occasions and the tan and dark skin male employees were fantastic as well as the older African American/ black or possibly Latina lady. The younger teenage and 20 something year old girls need to be trained at their level if they hope to...

Tom Carvel actually lived up the road from this ice cream place. He was a dedicated man of the community and his family's home shared with my yard. He gave to the community a grant to add on a children's library. This ice cream place was nice and served soft and hard ice cream, made cakes and cones with hard dipped shells in red and black. The famous flying saucers which are now called, sammies. The town's people made lines outside the place after baseball and soccer games, The teens hung out in the parking lot eating ice cream and it was a good place.

After it was taken over by a new family and they stuck in a Subway, the smell of ice cream was taken over by baked breads and lost it's desire to just sell ice cream.

I had to stop coming...

Whoever your staff person was on Nov 5 at 9:20pm needs to get checked or have someone else to join them on their shift. We came in at 9pm , no one was inside and weren’t even greeted until a few minutes later. The guy came out from the back room and looked out of it. He asked what we wanted and told him two shakes. He went to the side to grab gloves and while doing so was slowly drooping onto the counter. We had to repeat our order because he forgot in a matter of seconds and when he did start mixing our shake, he was drooping over the mixer! His eyes were so low, he was mumbling his words and wasn’t here at all. Honestly it was embarrassing to even order with him. I love carvel but this location needs to check...
