Scaramella's Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

We have eaten here many times before, it's very pricey but Italian food was good. but tonight we ordered a $70 steak medium (pink) Plus 3 others dinners total came to $350 When the steak Came to the table it was very charcoaled .The menu hadd said steak with sliced potatoes ,No one explained they were actually potato chips! No Salad no vegetables. I don't want to ramble on but when my husband cut into the stake it was extremely well done. My husband would never complain but I was upset. So waiter never came back to the table To see how everything was I had to call him over. His answer was the steak cooks while it's on the plate (this was a regular plate ). My husband Had taken A BITE and a piece of grizzle got stuck in his chest he got up,left the restaurant to go outside .Not to make a spectacle in the restaurant. my point is I showed the waiter How Extremely well done the steak was and there was no answer no I'm sorry. Just Insinuating when the steak was left unattended it cooked to well done. it was just on a regular plate not on a plate that you get in a steakhouse where it's sizzling. Point is they did nothing while my. husband was vomiting on the parking lot. No manager came over. Very unprofessional, now they just lost 4 customers . I'm very upset. My wife and I have ordered from this restaurant for many years using grub hub or some other app. Yesterday we placed an order and the restaurant forgot to put in one of the pastas dishes that went with the chicken parmigiana I ordered. When my wife called to tell them and their response was she could come and pick it up, I thought they should deliver it. When she called back I spoke with a gentleman and I suggested that they should deliver it but I was told because I ordered through an app they wouldn’t or couldn’t, which I didn’t understand. I told the gentleman I spoke with the app service didn’t mess up the order the restaurant did but he refused to send the missing dish. We had just spent 90 dollars with the restaurant and have been customers for years. I guess everyone that works at the restaurant takes public transportation to work and nobody there had a car to bring my missing pasta dish that they forgot to put in. It I obvious to me that customer service isn’t high on their priority list. As someone that works in customer service the answer from the gentleman I spoke with was unacceptable. One of my all time favorites! Food. Atmosphere and staff are incredible! The family's been coming here for years, and I recently got an opportunity to try it for myself. Now I know why they keep coming back. The menu is authentic and has a large variety of options. Something for everyone. The owner, Sal is a great guy who greets and accommodates all his customers personally. Which is not easy as the place is super busy, as it should be. The bartender/manager Bruna is exceptional and really goes above and beyond to provide the best service. The wait staff are all very friendly and attentive. You never have to look or wait fo sometime to bring you whatever you might need. There’s always someone available and paying attention. Beyond that, the most important part of any dining experience is the food, and this place delivers. Everyone at the table ordered a different type of dish, pasta, seafood, steak and chicken. Everyone was raving about how good their meals were at the end. It's rare for a place to get every type of dish just right. We all tried each other's and agreed.
