This is somewhat of a disappointing Plaza, although there are some good places to go in the plaza. First off is the Ardsley Cucina, which has terrific pizza, but also a lovely place inside the restaurant to est an Italian lunch or dinner, more on the fancy side than the pizza. The food in the restaurant is excellent; my sister and I were very impressed. We did not have wine that day, but there is an extensive wine list for the restaurant section. Would go there often; just note, it is closed on Thanksgiving Day and I would think on Christmas Day as well.
Continuing down the road, there is a bustling UPS store witH mailboxes, very handy and open until 5 on Saturdays. Across the little street, there is a great Chase Bank, a very special Post Office with lovely cards and very nice and helpful postpeople to take care of those in the P.O. Then there is a good Rite Aid, with very sweet people who take care of you.
Three or four other places to mention: An excellent hairdressing salon named Kim's; another, somewhat more upscale salon named Salon 847 I believe -- It is very near to the Post Office. There is another Italian restaurant named La Cantena, which is supposed to be excellent and which friends of mine have asserted is great.
Last, but definitely not least, there is a Club Pilates, which is truly great, with a variety of class levels and a warm, clean and spacious atmosphere highly...

Good range of shops including Rite Aid drug store and pharmacy, Italian Ardsley Cucina, Dunkin’ and US Post Office (often has queues if there are people in the line ahead applying for passports. Also a UPS store - good for Amazon returns but eBay shippers will find outgoing prices that are not good value. Also Four J Wine and Liquor has good selection of imported wines. When a cork broke recently on a bottle of St Emilion Bordeaux, the proprietors promptly exchanged for another wine returning full value. Prices are not the very lowest in the area,...
Read moreA very stable mall that's attached to another less stable mall. Most of the stores in this lower mall have been around for 10 years or more. In this mole is the Chase Bank, rite aid, Italian restaurant, a veterinarian and a Chinese restaurant and a liquor store. Easy access off 9A. Sometimes difficult making a left turn back on to 9A during rush hour because the traffic backs up and...
