The people working there, especially the woman who has run the counter and I think has managed the place for all the years it’s been open, are fabulous. Steak wasn’t the greatest cut or quality. Chicken was flavorful enough so perhaps that’s the star of the show. Tempura wasn’t comparable quality to other places in and around NyC at a similar price point. Ginger salad was decent, fried rice was mediocre.
