To: Alchemy Wine & Beer Owners Why in the world would you ever open a new establishment and Steal the Name of an already established business right down the road from your new business. Even if the name isn't trademarked, it has prior use in commerce and that alone establishes Dan's Legal rights to the Name THE SHORE HOUSE. It is my opinion that anyone that would even consider doing this is an Unethical person lacking both professionalism as well as any Integrity. It is my hope that you will realize what a LOW move this was and voluntarily change your Moniker to something original and not POACH upon Someone else's Well Established name and Brand! Please Share and share some More. This is the Act of a Self Absorbed Person(s) who cares nothing about who they hurt along the way. The World needs to be aware of the kind of person they are supporting when they frequent your establishment. Shame on You!!!

We really wanted to love Alchemy. Living near the village we were very excited when a new wine bar opened up. Alchemy is a beautiful restaurant that sells quality dishes but unfortunately (in my opinion) is incredibly over priced. We ordered a wine flight, 1 glass of wine and a cheese tray and our bill was $60. The wine flight glasses had 1 sip of wine in them. For $13, I felt insulted. The standalone glass we ordered was poured with a light hand as well. The cheese tray, even though delicious, was not worth $30 on its own. There was very little bread and the cheese portions were small (for $30) If you plan on ordering a bottle of wine and sitting on the patio, this place is for you. But I do not recommend buying by the glass because you will be underwhelmed.

What a beautiful place, from the warm and inviting decor and even more bright servers that go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and special on my birthday by giving a special drink to go with my cocktail for brunch! The food was incredibly fresh and bright, seasonal produce was so flavorful and I am very particular with my food lol! I had the avocado toast and potatoes bravas and it was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend taking a peak at their wine collection and meat and cheeses. I chose Iberico Chorizo and a bottle of wine from the Alsacè region and just wow *chefs kiss! We will be back very soon, and thank you for making my bday such a vibe!!

We hosted my aunt’s celebration of life here and could not be more grateful that this is the venue we chose! Not only is the atmosphere so cozy inviting, but the food and drinks are top notch. More than anything, it’s the incredible people at Alchemy that truly make the experience special. We were treated with such warmth, kindness and grace during the planning leading up to the event and throughout the duration of the event itself. The staff at Alchemy went above and beyond to accommodate every single request we asked for. They were wonderful to work with and made every guest feel at home in their space. Multiple guests commented on the heartfelt service we received during our time here. I can go on and on about how special this place is, but I’ll just say if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. If you are thinking of hosting an event here, you will be in GREAT hands! If you are thinking of stopping in for a drink or bite to eat, do it! Thank you to everyone at the Alchemy for helping us plan this difficult event with ease. We will forever be appreciative of you all. With love, the...

I experienced my first brunch at Alchemy today. I ordered their espresso martini, but they were out of espresso. I was asked if I would be okay with them using coffee to make it and I said "okay," but was then charged full price. The only reason I went there was to use a gift card they issued me after a dispute regarding their Valentine's Day dinner. It was a pre-paid event, and I was planning to go with a friend, however my car broke down in Amherst several hours before. I tried calling and sent an email letting them know I wouldn't make the reservation. I didn't speak to anyone until the next day, and they refused to refund my money because the food had needed to be ordered for each guest specifically. I then asked if I could pick up my food, and was told they didn't have it. I asked for my money back and they refused to refund the $130 I paid for two guests. They ended up giving me $50 in gift cards, as well as a bottle of wine. The gift cards didn't even cover the cost of one dinner. I finally used that gift card today, on a martini that wasn't made properly. I...
