Angelina's — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I recently brought my husband up from Florida to visit my hometown, and there was no question that I had to take him to my parents’ favorite restaurant — Angelina’s in Rockville Centre. I grew up coming here, and it’s still just as amazing (if not better!) than I remembered.

We ordered two of the specials of the night and one regular dish, and every single plate was phenomenal. The portions were incredibly generous, the ingredients were so fresh, and every bite tasted homemade with so much love and flavor.

Our server was such a sweet and lovely girl — genuinely attentive and kind — and everyone we encountered was so warm. Even Jap, working behind the pizza counter, was so friendly and welcoming! We took some pizza to go to snack on later because we couldn’t resist.

The whole evening was perfect — a beautiful fall Saturday night in New York, amazing food, wonderful service, and the kind of experience that reminds you why you fall in love with a place like this. We were blown away and even have leftovers for tomorrow!

Angelina’s will forever be one of my favorite restaurants — the food, the people, and the atmosphere are unbeatable. Thank you for such a memorable night...

This restaurant uses a particularly pungent type of Parmesan cheese that is inedible unless you like your food to taste like vomit. And they put in almost everything! The food would be decent if not for the Parmesan, but it literally ruins almost every dish. I eat Italian food all the time, and I like mild Parmesan, so I am not afraid of this cheese. But a restaurant should be wise enough to use mild versions of cheeses if it is going to throw it into anything and everything that it serves. If Angelina's modifies its Parmesan cheese, then it would be a 3.5 star restaurant rather than a 2 star restaurant.

They sprinkle it on the complimentary bread they serve.

They add it to the standard side of pasta with pomedoro sauce (i.e simple tomato sauce) they serve as an accompaniment to every main dish.

They add it to regular pizza.

They added it to the breadcrumbs they put on top of veal and...

We had my father's 60th birthday here and I have nothing but fantastic things to say! Our group can be a bit challenging, but the staff handled everything amazingly and got everyone their food even with minor difficulties. The private room fit 50 of us pretty well, I wouldn't suggest more than 50 people in there though. The price per person was phenomenal and the food was absolutely delicious! They accommodated the vegetarian and helped me whenever I needed it. I highly recommend having an event here or even just go there for lunch or dinner. Their pizza was delicious as well!
