Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

My husband and I have been to Bellmore Applebee's on several occasions and always enjoyed ourselves and the food. Recently we have noticed the restaurant is dirty the menus had food on them aren't they suppose to wipe them down with disinfected especially with COVID!! The bathroom were disgusting! Now let's talk about the hostess who told us we had to wait to be seated because the waitress just walked in and wasn't ready yet? Aren't you suppose to be ready to work when you walk into the restaurant and we arrived around 4:45pm and maybe there were 5 to 6 tables of people the bar had 2 people sitting do just let's day the restaurant was not busy no need for us to wait for 20 minutes while our waitress got ready to WORK. Now let's talk about the waitress ( her name was Claudia) 1-she could barely open her mouth to speak 2-RUDE 3- obviously no experience serving people 4-when she bought the food kinda just dropped the plates in front of us and walked away 5-I think Claudia should look for a new job maybe somewhere where she doesn't have to interact with people 6-no manager to be found which I think you need to have a manager at the restaurant to oversee the young staff that has no ideas how to operate a restaurant and how to talk to people walking into your restaurant 7- NEVER AGAIN WILL I WASTE MY MONEY OR MY TIME COMING TO THIS...

Me and my boyfriend been going to this applebees for 2 year's. I live up the block and tonight we decided to go and I had the worst experience. And the waitress by the name of crystal or Erica i believe. I should've took the receipt like I always do. But I was too frustrated I wasn't even thinking about it until I got home. She was so rude she didn't serve me and my boyfriend water, when she gave us our appetizers without plates, my food came out at least 30 minutes , she didn't ask us if we need anything else. To the point I ask for a box to take my appetizers home then she said do u Want the checked. Usually my servers ask if we need anything else or do u want any dessert. it seems like she wanted us to leave. And my boyfriend still gave her a tip. When we was walking out she looked me in the eyes and didn't say anything no have a good night or nothing. I was so surprised by the rude customer's...

I don't usually give out a rating like this to Applebee's, which is why it seemed fitting to even make it. They deserved it today! My order came out hot and on time, unlike other Applebee's in Queens where my plate is colder than the reheatable trays at Delta Airlines. My margs were saucy-- not full of ice, not watered down, not full of disappointment. They had me feeling like it was Saturday on a Thursday. The waitress, Amanda, was nice and attentive. She made sure we were doing okay without over-asking. You know the type that constantly check-in on you mid-bite? The ones that ask so frequently you might as well offer them to sit down and eat with you? She wasn't like that at all, and that's SO appreciated. Thank you, Amanda. All I wanted were wings and margs, some chisme on the side, and a good time. I definitely got that.
