Wow guys, completely unbelievable. I don't know your name other than you're likely Jim's wife and Jim Jr's mom ... and own the place, but you have no idea how to treat your customers. Enjoy offering free stuff to all of your personal friends and then offering your table, after we had been waiting for an hour and told we could sit there, to your friends that just walked in. You were clueless to the fact that we had been waiting for an hour and WE were who the host was looking for a table for.
Reservations for 6 or more, yet your friends that you needed to give your table to were a party of 4. We asked how many reservations were in front of us and were told there were only two, for parties of 10 and 6 and those tables were already waiting for them. When you were confronted, you lied and said they had a reservation. You continued your lie by saying that it was set up months ago.
You knew we had our daughter and that she was hungry and waiting, but you decided your friends were more important and all you could muster was "I'm sorry" to us, when in fact you should have given your friends that message. Pathetic.
Very disappointed in having supported you all these years after you purchased the place and for constantly recommending you. We'll be sure to tell the same people to avoid you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTonight I had stopped by this location to meet a friend, to eat, enjoy each otherās company, and watch the Super Bowl. The time was 8:52 pm and the hours are listed until 2:00am. I walked into this establishment and everyone looked at me as if they had seen a ghost. I immediately felt uncomfortable. I called my friend that I was suppose to be meeting me, he walked in seconds later and one of the bartenders tells us that the bar is close for the evening, and refused to offer us a clear table to sit at. I would say it was roughly 25 people there, the bar was crowded but there were mostly, if not all, the dining tables were empty. I was confused to why, the bar was closed or why we couldnāt be seated. However, we accepted it and decided to walk to Applebeeās. We finished at Applebeeās at 10:21 pm and walked back to our cars, which we park about 20 ft in front of this establishment and had a clear view of the inside. There were still the same amount of people there. I was still confused on what was the reason why we couldnāt even sit at the table. So, I decided to call, no one picked up. I called again and as I called the second time, two individuals walked in and were seated immediately. It is safe to say we were discriminated simply based on the fact that we were of African American and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI personally didn't rate the food because we didn't have anything to eat. We had drinks and listened to Contra band. They were great. Our companions had some food which they enjoyed. One friend ordered the chili and didn't like it so she sent it back and the waitress brought her something else. She got the chicken quesadillas and said that they were delicious. The only thing I could say, and I know it's not 3rd rail's fault, is that after we left that Friday, on Sunday night we were both sick with Covid. Two of the people that we were with also got sick. So 4 out of 8 of us in the group got sick. Things have lightened up a lot in public places because no one was wearing masks, including us. I just want people to know that they should be aware whenever they go into a crowded place where people aren't wearing masks the chances of being infected are still out there. After we recover it will be a while before we go out or into a crowded place without wearing masks. Don't blame 3rd Rail. It's a great place....
