I placed an order for lasagna caterer I exchanged emails 3 emails w/the restaurant and owner starting October 23 for an order October 28th, I specifically asked for no pork no veal I was told no problem, I was cleared on my order only meat for the lasagna. On the day of the event the order was changed to no meat lasagna, NO ONE contacted me to discuss this change in the order, I was called at 1pm because the order was due for pick up. Still at that point I was not told that the order was changed. I was running around as I had guess coming for the party, at no point was I told that my order was changed without my consent or me being able to make any alternate plans. So I called the owner when I opened the lasagna and found out that there was no MEAT in the lasagna, for which I paid for. When I called to complain he acted as if I was bothering him and said the food is “good enough” and “I gave you a discount 15% off” I do not want a discount I want communication, accountability, I want to get I paid for. I felt so disrespected as a customer, I do not know how he does business, giving the customer whatever he wants not what the customer paid for. It was incredibly embarrassing having my guess with no main course basically snacks. I cannot convey how disgusted I am with the way this turned out. If you cannot fulfill the order in the first place you need to cancel call LEAVE a message something to let the customer know that the order is not going to be make, not just change it to whatever the owner convenience and not inform the customer just take their money and have no regard for any inconvenience. They do not care about the customer. Pasta and tomato sauce, what a joke, I was in the middle of the celebration with no main course It was the worse experience terrible customer service to none existent. There was no communication with me they cooked whatever they wanted and charge me for something I did not want. The owner was disrespectful and could not care less that about the order. This is absolutely without a doubt the worse experience I ever had. I regret not doing it myself, but as most of us who lives in NY and has a job I do not have time it is why I decided on order catering to save time and offer something tasty to my guess instead I had no main course but just snacks. The owner completely showed no care even though the food was not what I ordered. Good luck placing orders there. The owner will give you...
Read moreUpon my recent visit to Capo Ristorante, nestled at 700 A Franklin Ave, Franklin Square, NY 11010, I was treated to an experience that tantalized my taste buds and warmed my heart. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Tesla Panini, a masterful blend of succulent grilled chicken, rich Parma ham, and velvety mozzarella, all nestled between slices of perfectly crisped Krispina bread and complemented by the peppery zing of baby arugula. It was, in every sense, a delight.
The appetizers did not play second fiddle, with the fried macaroni & cheese balls presenting a symphony of textures and flavors that were both comforting and indulgent.
But what truly set Capo Ristorante apart was their exceptional customer service. In celebration of our recent engagement, which we happened to mention in passing, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert to accompany our takeout order. This thoughtful gesture was the cherry on top of an already splendid dining experience.
It's small businesses like Capo Ristorante that reinforce my love for those local spots where the quality of both food and service is deeply personal. They've truly mastered the art of making patrons feel like family. I'll be returning not just for the delectable fare, but for that genuine, homey touch that is all too rare in today's bustling world.

Read moreWe celebrated my son's confirmation at Capos and every dish from beginning to end was amazing. We have ordered paninis for years and have even had holidays catered too but this was our first time dining in with a large party. The food was so delicious and everyone loved their meals. We started with generous family size portions of crispy fried calamari (with the most delicious dipping sauce) and beautiful antipasto platter. Please make sure to try the INCREDIBLE prosciutto wrapped shrimp app (the sauce is to die for) and the drunken chicken entree with vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella. And if you have that picky kid that doesn't eat anything mine said his chicken fingers were the best he's ever had! We ended the meal with the most delicious tiramisu dessert - I wish I had taken an extra to go. To top this all off, the bill was so surprisingly affordable I was actually expecting to pay double. I really just couldn't be more grateful and wanted to take the time to share this positive experience because you might not think to plan your next family dinner party here but you should! Thank you Capos - we...
