This was the worst Verizon provider Iāve ever dealt with. I've purchased a brand-new Samsung Galaxy cellphone from this location. I selected a black cellphone. The representative(Addy) informed me that they did not have the phone Iāve requested; however, they have a violet rose gold one on site. I purchased the phone even though it was not a color I would voluntarily select. Turns out the brand-new phone I purchased was a Refurbished phone that was sold as new. The cellphone battery began to swell which led to the cellphone cover separating. Inside the cover of the cellphone was someoneās initials written in blue ink. So, this location knowingly sold me a refurbished cellphone for the price of a Brand-New phone without my knowledge.
I returned to the store with my concerns, and they related that they will provided me with a $650 discount for turning in their refurbished phone, which they admitted if the phone was āNewā there shouldnāt have been writing in the phone.
Like the previous encounter I requested a Black Samsung Galaxy. The store again did not have the color of my choice in the store. The store representative ordered the phone and informed me that it would be delivered to the store in three days. Great, Iām stuck with the refurbished phone that doesnāt charge or make phone calls for three days.
I returned to the Verizon store on the third day (Tuesday) at 12pm. They store reps inform me that UPS usually makes their deliveries between 12-1pm. The store rep asked if I received notification that the phone was delivered. I respond that I could not receive notifications on a broken refurbished phone that was sold to me as a new phone. The rep asked if I had an alternate number to contact me once the phone was delivered. I provided the rep with my T-MOBILE cellphone number.
At 3:33pm I called the Verizon store from my T-MOBILE phone to ask about the delivery of the phone that was ordered. The store rep informed me the delivery was delayed until Wednesday. I requested the order to be canceled because I needed a phone ASAP and the Verizon store in West Hempstead had the phone I wanted. The Verizon Rep at the Franklin store told me they could not cancel the order, and I would have to wait until Wednesday to cancel the order when it was delivered. I informed the rep that was unacceptable and will be returning to the store to further discuss. I informed the rep they did not contact me to inform me about the delays in the delivery, they sold me a refurbished phone which is inoperable, and now I will have to wait a 4th day for a new phone. Once I arrived at the Franklin location, they were able to cancel the order within a minute.
I was able to purchase a Brand-New phone at the West Hempstead location. Unfortunately, I had to pay the full price ($1,300) for my phone, since I could not turn in my battery damaged, refurbished phone that was sold to me as NEW from the Franklin location. The trade in value for the phone would have been $650.
The Verizon Franklin location experience was untrustworthy, unhelpful, and they made my experience frustrating and a complete...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give zero stars, theyād get a negative 3! Short summary: DO NOT go here. Do yourself a favor and go to Verizon corporate store instead (ex: Rockville Centre). Corporate will probably also have better rates and deals. This store is not corporate owned which means they can set their own prices and rates (usually more $$). I read all the raving reviews and thought this was a solid place but I was proven wrong. I walked out with an absolutely terrible experience. The person helping us might have been in training or either have zero effs: he gave anbsolut minimal effort and zero energy. The employee did not communicate well with us and his attitude was as if we were a nuisance. There were a lot of things he did not know and kept asking annother employee for answers so we assumed he was training and were extremely patient throughout the whole process. He also misspelled the name on my account (didnāt notice until I received the bill). He signed me up even though there was an issue with one of the devices we brought over and assured he would fix the issue after the account was set up. Well, the issue was NOT fixed and I couldnāt do anything about it as the account was done and the numbers ported in. We had to call over another employee to help us understand exactly what we had just been signed up for. He did but either way we got screwed and our issue wasnāt resolved. This particular store is terrible. Customer service is poor to say the least. Needless to say I am now a happy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis past weekend, my dad and I had the pleasure of visiting the Verizon store, where we were fortunate to meet Chris. From the very beginning, he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and kindness, making our experience not only smooth but genuinely enjoyable.
We were in the process of upgrading to the iPhone 16 and had several questions and concerns about pricing, features, and the overall process. Chris went above and beyond to guide us through everything. He took the time to carefully explain all the details, ensuring we fully understood the breakdown of costs and the benefits of the plan we were choosing. It was clear he was dedicated to making sure we got the best deal possible.
What stood out the most was his courteous and respectful demeanor, especially toward my dad, who appreciated the extra care and attentiveness Chris provided. His helpful nature turned what could have been a confusing or overwhelming task into a seamless and stress-free experience.
Thanks to Chris, my dad and I left the store feeling completely satisfied and confident in our decision to an upgrade. Chris truly exemplifies excellent customer service.
We are so grateful for the support and assistance he offered and will certainly be returning to this Verizon location for any future needs. Thank you once again, Chris, for your outstanding service and dedicationāyouāve earned loyal customers in us. Keep up the great customer...
