Caribbean Hut Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Found this place yesterday while visiting a friend in the neighborhood. Called my order in and asked for time when it will be ready. The person on the phone said to come right away. I drove there only to be waiting almost 15 mins plus and my food was not in the process of being ready, something I was trying to avoid due to Covid. The cost of my food was $18 yes $18 for a L Oxtail with peas and rice. When I got back to my home opened my food I literally got 3 small pieces of half cooked oxtail and a foil pan filled with rice and steam vegetables. I thought of this being very dishonoring and disrespectful to me as a customer. It’s clearly shows you do not care for your customers. I will pay any amount of money for food once it’s worth the price. I outlined the $18 because it was abuse for what I received. My $18 ended up in the garbage. I ordered food on DoorDash what I received was very disappointing I feel like these restaurants take advantage of people who order online and not being able to come in because the restaurant can just send you what they want then people have to deal with the delivery company we ordered from to get a refund or put in a complaint I order curry goat all I had was pure bones on my plate, please do not get me started about that sweet chili salmon. Did Caribbean Hut change ownership? Each time I order the presentation gets worse and the amount gets smaller. Today was the worst, we ordered oxtail, cabbage, rice and peas, no gravy. and an extra serving of white rice. We got oxtail, white rice, cabbage, no gravy thrown in the box, not served.
