DOZ Bagels of Freeport Pantano's — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I've had their bagels before, anf found them to be just "ok," but since I was short on time, I gave them another shot this morning. I walked in and was greeted by a male behind the counter who addressed me as "honey." I placed my order and requested that he please not call me "honey." After relaying my order to another staff member, he rang me up. When I tried to tap my card I was informed that they have no credit card service and I could only pay in cash. I asked him why he didn't tell me that before I placed my order and he just shrugged. I guess they'll enjoy throwing away my food, because I didn't have any cash on me - and I didn't have any more time to spend on this place.

This was a complete waste of my time and the food that I ordered. Not to mention that I went in there for a bagel, with a reasonable expectation that I would not be demeaned by the staff and that I'd be informed if they cannot accept the forms of payment they advertise. With their mediocre menu and lack of respect for their customers - I really don't understand how they expect to stay in business. Take my advice and just drive to the next bagel shop... this is Long Island for crying out loud, we have enough of them to...

Bruh the Bacon eggn cheese I got….immaculate! Yooo freshly made melty cheese fresh bread. Clean environment. The staff was bomb. There was this sweet Spanish guy I forgot his name but he was there super early with a huge smile on his face and so welcoming and just sweet. He was personable and made sure to show that he is really about customer satisfaction! I hate that I forgot his name but he was so great. Deep Hispanic accident and just to sweet and I can tell he loves his job and meeting new people. I wish I knew who made my sandwich because LISTEN It was MAD GOOOOOODDDD. Originally I gave a 5 star review. I loved this place. BUT consistency is the key. The veggie cream cheese was really good the 1st couple of times. The last order it wasnt very good. Way to much scallion..making it scallion cream cheese. Gross. Secondly I asked for Pumpernickel bagels and received whole wheat. Honest mistake? Maybe but a doordash order is printed right in front of you. Not to mention pumpernickel are almost black and wheat are brown. So we are not strong on reading and are color blind? Also..(on DD app) how come when ordering a single bagel I cant find a sesame bagel only wheat sesame.
