As a patron who values local businesses and enjoys trying new restaurants, I recently visited Ginza with my son. I was excited to sample their offerings, especially the Ginza roll, which I had heard many positive reviews about. However, our experience was tarnished by a few disappointing factors that I cannot overlook. Upon arrival at 2:45 PM, we were greeted and seated promptly. I inquired about the lunch menu, only to be informed that they were no longer serving it, despite the restaurant's website stating that lunch is available until 3 PM. The waiter shared that they could not provide the lunch menu after 2:45 PM, which I found puzzling. Unfortunately, this lack of transparency regarding their menu offerings impacted our overall impression of the establishment. We ordered a lychee Martini, spicy tuna crispy rice, and the Ginza roll. The lychee Martini was overly sweet and lacked a proper balance of vodka, while the spicy tuna crispy rice was bland, oily, and lacking the expected spicy flavor. I requested a side of spicy mayo and some jalapeños to add some life to the dish, but it still fell short of what one would expect from a high-quality Japanese establishment. The only highlight of our meal was the fresh and well-prepared Ginza roll. It demonstrated the potential for this restaurant to deliver excellent sushi, but the inconsistency in the other dishes left us feeling unsatisfied. Throughout our meal, I noticed the restaurant becoming increasingly empty, yet our table was cleared prematurely as soon as my son had finished his portion of the Ginza roll, leaving me feeling rushed during my meal. I was unaware that I would be charged extra for the spicy mayo and jalapeños, which I would have preferred to have left on the table until I had completed my meal. When asking for the bill, I inquired about the lunch menu policy and expressed my concern about not being able to order from it after 2:45 PM. The waiter suggested calling ahead in the future to place a lunch order, but I believe that any restaurant should honor their published menu hours. In conclusion, while the Ginza roll was enjoyable, the disappointing aspects of our experience left me feeling uneasy about returning to this lestablishment. I urge diners to carefully review their bill and exercise caution when ordering dishes that may incur additional charges. I had hoped for a more positive experience, but unfortunately, the restaurant's lack of transparency and unethical practices have discouraged me from...

we come here very often but after this past weekends incredibly rude service by the women up front we will not be returning. we made a last minute reservation which open table allowed. we came to the restaurant and i was borderline interrogated by the women up front asking for proof of my reservation because they were busy and were in disbelief that opentable allowed me to make one. they then had 2 tables open and refused to seat us at either and forced us to sit at the sushi bar. when i asked about the two top open right behind the bar she told me i couldn't sit there it was being held to make availability for a table of ten meanwhile 5 mins after we were seated they sat another couple there. the women were incredibly rude to myself an my husband up front embarrassing us in front of a busy restaurant before we agreed to sit at the bar. weve dined with this establishment for over 5 years at the original location and here now since they moved almost 2x a month we will be finding a new sushi restaurant because as good as their food is its not worth the women up front and their rude antics. if youre considering ginza dont bother on a busy night if you dont want to be harassed by the women who are meant...

The fact that a gem like this exists in Levittown is crazy to me. I no longer have to travel to the city for amazing sushi. I have been coming here for the last few months now and have become friendly with the chef, Patrick. Patrick shits on ishikawa or any other over priced sushi you can think of with all the hype, seriously. What he can do with flavor is actually insane, from orange reduction to his other sauce preparation, it is actually the best I’ve ever had.

Some other amazing things I’ve had here is the lobster bisque and all of the dessert and drinks are phenomenal.

My recommendation, walk in and ask Patrick to just serve you whatever he wants, and then sit back and enjoy. I will fight anyone who disagrees with me on this, see photos attached, this isn’t...

Heard about this place through Feed Me Long Island in Newsday. Went on a Friday night and it was busy. The restaurant reportedly flies most of its fish in directly from Tokyo, and they specifically note that they use real king crab—not imitation kani. We got the sushi and sashimi for two, and shrimp gyoza and duck rolls for appetizers. Food was fresh, clean and delicious. I especially loved sitting at the sushi bar, watching chef-owner Patrick and co. work their magic with precision and focus. Be mindful depending on how crowded it is - the service took some time between courses as it seemed they were also dealing with an influx of online and take out orders. Personal rating: 8.4/10
