First of all the food was absolutely phenomenal my wife had lobster raviolis and I had a New York strip steak it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was cooked perfectly and the Marinade/Sauce on the steak was to die for ! The main course was absolutely awesome and the prices were pretty reasonable also ! They came out and sang me happy birthday and the desserts was very good as well. Overall I would’ve given them five stars Until I receive the bill and just couldn’t figure it out. It turns out they added 18% gratuity automatically to the bill which is fine but then also a five dollar credit card usage charge on top of that ! Which is also fine, I understand a lot of places are doing that these days unfortunately but they never mentioned it anywhere and it was not listed on the bill nor did it say anywhere that it would cost more to pay with credit then cash. We were never told about the up-charge for using Credit nor were we told or was it stated anywhere that the gratuity would be automatically added to the bill !! But the kicker is that they also listed a suggested tip on the bill for 10% 15% and 20% of the full price anyway even though the gratuity was already added to the bill so I would imagine a lot of people don’t realize that they paid the gratuity and tip on top of that 18% and that’s just not right !!! I asked the waitress to explain it to me but there was a language barrier there so I had to go to the bartender and she explained it all to me and also agreed that she didn’t believe it was right either. All in all with the exception of the billing issue which I believe is a serious issue the whole experience was really fabulous, the entertainment was great the food was phenomenal and it was a very nice atmosphere it was also a shame that it ended in confusion with their billing process that’s the only reason I did not give them five stars and that needs to be addressed. Overall I would suggest this restaurant to anybody it’s a really nice time with great food...
Read moreWe had a family gathering for Father's day and a birthday. The servers were trying their best to provide good service. They were kind. They asked us if everything was ok and we were fine despite the fact it took almost an hour to get our food. The manager/captain was very rude. The food took ages to arrive. When asked about bringing fried calamari he came to me and stated I had to wait for them to bring all the food. When I requested to bring it as an appetizer then he changed his attitude and told the waitress to bring it to the table. Another family member asked for an order of tostones. Honestly we were all dissapointed there were only 2 pieces on a bed of lettuce. Finally our last course was a nice cake. At the end The waitress asked if we wanted to have it cut and the number of pieces took the cake and had it cut. In the meantime a stepped out to make a call and when I returned I mentioned I had missed my cake. The same nice waitress mentioned she would go get it. The manager immediately responded - No . There is no more cake- and I did reply I was waiting for it because the waitress had mentioned about bringing me my piece. She did and I enjoyed it. Maybe not everyone observed this behaviour but I work for the hospitality industry and in any case you have to be very aware of your attitude. You are there to spend good time because that is why you are paying for so .... there is no need to be rude with people. If he had a bad day.... it was none...

I really didn’t have high expectations going in because a Mexican and an Italian restaurant just sounds weird. Well I was very incorrect. When we walked in to the restaurant (Saturday night)there was a band playing. It gave the restaurant a very festive atmosphere. We were greeted immediately and brought to the table. My first question was, “is your fish fresh” and the answer, thank God, was “yes”. I’ve been to way too many restaurants on the nautical mile that have frozen fish. There were four of us and everyone had a delicious appetizer. My shrimp ceviche was possibly the best I ever had. The oysters were served on a beautiful platter. Everything was very appealing to the eye. Most important everything tasted fresh. One of the diners had baby lamb chops and they were very meaty and cooked to the perfect temperature. They were served with mint jelly and were absolutely to die for. The two women had Chilean Seabass which was cooked absolutely perfect with a walnut crust with scrumptious spinach and balsamic reduction. The other diner had lobster tail, steak and fish which was also delicious.
I can’t say enough about this restaurant.
I can’t wait to visit in the summer time. It’s on the water and they have an outside deck.
Also the owner is very hands-on which I love. She walks around making sure everything is perfect. The entire staff is very attentive.
Oh by the way, the sangria is...
