My boyfriend and I went to this establishment and ordered food. When we received our food the waiter was confused about where we were seated and had our food going from one end of the restaurant to the other. I was looking at him the whole time and he went by the bar and had my food near alot of people talking and near crowds! Multiple people was talking over my food and this one lady was talking and all drunk talking over my food. Eventually the waiter finally gave us the food and we were disgusted from the food floating and near everyone and everything. However I still tried to sacrifice to not be a pest and take a bite, but the food was absolutely nasty. I feel like they threw our food together. Now I understand this is not a upscale restaurant and more of a chill , eat and drink spot! but the food should taste somewhat decent. I kindly explained to our waiter that the food wasnât to our liking and we didnât like the fact that our food had been contaminated and I said this in the nicest way possible without sounding rude at all. I told him we will pay for our drinks but we are not paying for the two meal that we barely even touched or didnât like. The waiter was completely understanding and said no problem and he Called the manager and I said thank you I appreciate you then the the manager Tony came to the table. Tony did not try to accommodate us at all nor understand where we were coming from. He insisted that we pay for all of the food and I said Iâm not going pay for a order that we didnât enjoy and the presentation wasnât good at all, plus why would I pay for food that multiple people were talking over. His attitude the whole time was nasty and not pleasant and even when he approached. He didnât even try to give us options. After he finally seen that I said what I said then he said Iâll clear the food and you will have to pay for the drinks. I said thank you then as he was walking away he told my boyfriend and I to not come back to eat there again. When I tell you my boyfriend and I were in disbelief, we never experienced service like that at a restaurant and the food didnât look clean or taken care of at all. Everyone has different experience at restaurants and ect. But for this to be my first time eating there and to be treated this way is ridiculous. A customer shouldnât be treated like that. If a customer doesnât like the food , presentation of the food then they should be able to get a refund or offered option to them without being harassed. I will never support or eat from this...
Read moreI don't know how in the world this place has good reviews because (at least in the winter) it's no better than your frat friend's basement.
We stopped in last night for a few beers and some standard bar food. I wasn't expecting craft beer and I wasn't expecting five-star delectables, but I was at least hoping for something cold and bubbly in my glass and a helping of decent mozzarella sticks.
Nope.
Literally ALL of their beer on tap was bad. All of it. To the point that the bartender recommended we go with something from a bottle or a mixed drink. I asked for bottle of beer and had to request a glass. The glass I was given was dirty. Like, white crust around the rim. The other bartender noticed and replaced my glass.
We ordered nachos and mozzarella sticks as a snack. The nachos were pretty standard, but the mozzarella sticks ... the cheese wasn't even melted, and they were hot! How does that even happen?! I can only guess that they had been sitting in freezer since the time of the Pharaohs. We didn't eat them.
While we were there, the bar was otherwise populated by regulars (maybe eight or 10 folks), all of whom knew the bartender and kept asking him to shuffle the music and increase the volume. We couldn't even have a conversation while this was happening. The atmosphere was extremely awkward and unappealing. It felt like we were intruding on someone's private function.
Luckily, I had a 15 percent-off coupon that I used to pay for whatever you would call the experience we had. After high tailing it out of there, we made straight for BrewSA (just a hop across the street), which thankfully served up some nice fresh beer from their clean taps.
Tl;dr: There are at least 50 places to go on the Mile, guys. Pass...

The hostesses were friendly and welcoming..but that's unfortunately all that redeemed this place for 2 stars as opposed to 1. The bartender was dismissive and visibly confused/frustrated that there were 2 more people at her bar and took a good 5 minutes to even take notice of us - mind you, the bar had 3 other people there.
As a bartender myself, I'd expect some sort of (even slightly) cheery welcome and apology for ignoring patrons even though no one else needed anything at the bar area. When we asked for menus, she had a bad attitude as though we were asking too much just for menus. This attitude continues with the drinks we ordered, the food, and any other request we had.
She walked away immediately after our food arrived and when we asked for some hot sauce and salsa for our nachos (after waiting another 10 minutes for her to return), she finally brought them out and actually asked while basically throwing the salsa on the table, "Alright. Are you guys good now?" As if we'd want to order anything more from her.
We quickly finished our beers and left. No thanks to bad service and constant bad vibes/attitude from a bartender with only a few customers to service. Food was standard. Negative stars to the...
