Read moreI rarely write reviews, but my recent visit to Holy Cow on Elmont left me no choice but to share my experience. I was looking forward to trying their burgers, fries, and chicken sandwiches, but the encounter was underwhelming, to say the least.
Firstly, the customer service was appalling. When I asked a simple question for clarification about the menu, the staff member, particularly a lady at the counter, responded with such rudeness and condescension that it left me feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Customer service is the heart of any food establishment, and being spoken to as if I was an idiot is unacceptable.
Secondly, their inventory management was a mess. After placing my order and paying, I was informed that an item was out of stock. Rather than being notified beforehand or offered a substitute, I was told that the manager would give a refund the next day. This process was not only inconvenient but also lacked transparency, as I received no receipt or proof for this promised refund.
Moving on to the food - another letdown. The portion sizes were surprisingly small, not providing value for money. But what truly marred the experience was the temperature of the food. Both the fries and the chicken sandwich were soggy and cold, stripping away any potential enjoyment from the meal.
I cannot recommend this place, and I will never visit again.

Read moreWanted to try this spot for a bit. Seeing a bunch of great reviews. Saw some random IG food pages hype it up.. but its just hype.
I ordered the "Chopped Cheese," and it was anything but chopped. It was like a sorta chopped up beef patty. The real problem was the flavor. It tasted like the grill and not in a good way. It tasted burnt, and greasy. I've worked in the food service industry and this was a clear sign that grill was not cleaned properly. The bread was soggy and the "Holy sauce" was meh. Lacked flavor.
The Club Supreme sandwich also suffered the same faith as the chopped cheese. It was greasy, and tasted burnt. Due to it being a hot hero sandwich. It was sadly missing the "bacon" too. I added the "Peri Peri Sauce" - which was also lacking. No hint of spice or flavor. Tasted bland and of mayo. Which is off putting.
Finally the "Spicy" Fried Chicken Sandwich. This was also nothing to be amazed by. Greasy, hard, and soggy bread. Nothing spicy about it. I added pepper jack cheese and the cheese felt old. Like it was sitting in the fridge exposed to the elements.
This was an overall bad experience. What made it worst was the customer service. They have a rude undertone when you ask questions. Not the way to run a business.
Would not come back.
