PRICES are insanely ridiculous. Los precios son ridiculo! This is literally insanly Over priced bodega/spanish deli food. We ordered 2 takeout plates with rice beans & 2 types meats each & 2 bottled juices $2 ea. It came out to $48.50! UH UH! 😳 THATS CRAZY! payed with a $50 bill & got back basically nothing just about. These orders with 2 different types of main/meats are $9 - $12 in just almost EVERY other Caribbean / deli spot. There's been spots that also over price it @ $15 which is too much BUT $20.50 + tax % with the portion amount being the same as other deli's is just public abuse. Im sorry. But this is basically robbery. & they're slick enough to not have a menu with prices on display cause they know they'll be the demise of that business. This is wrong on so many levels. Taking advantage of the community by hitting them with basically double prices at the last minute when the ordered is served & ready to go. & a lot of ppl complain the they just charge different & higher prices on each visit which is another red flag. Town should close this for the sake of the public. They're ripping ppl out they're money on the low. That's...

Food is great; just be careful that they do not try to swindle you with their prices.. It's sad to say but every now and then they have a price for the meal on one day and another price the next day...

What helps is asking for the prices up front with whatever meal combo you're trying to get, ask if it's in addition to or including Tax.

Do not let them rush you to pick any meal from the buffet till you know you can pay for what they charge. The reason being is that one day they will accept credit then the next day will tell you they'll accept credit with a minimum of a $20 order (the meal prices are between $10 and $18) but yet another day they'll say it's cash only.

The prices are all depending on how they feel that day with $$$$ on their minds. Look at the posted price menus as well..(if they have it up) not very trustworthy when they get greedy.

When they try to swindle you with their prices, report them to the Better Business Bureau. Should set them straight...

ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE ATTITUDE!!! Every time I go here I'm reminded why I don't go. The service is horrible. It starts when you walk in. This place is set up as if takeout orders are to be placed when you come in. Why have the area open with a counter. So the cooks stand there and instead of directing people to the back to order, they ignore you until you address them. So I went to the back but of course no one will offer assistance unless you catch someone's attention. If they were busy I would understand, but when I've gone - it never is. Today, one of the ladies that take your order was eating right by the cashier and ignored me while the older lady (that was doing nothing) continued to chat with the lady eating. Go to the back and eat or sit like the customers and eat. I wish this neighborhood had more options. I almost forgot to mention how expensive they are, not worth it!!!
